Ryan cocked an eyebrow. "Why must they always try to stop us from escaping? Why can't they be focused on other people?" He complained as he kicked a box under the bench. Sounded as if something was inside it. He pulled out from underneath in a hurry. It was a long box. He opened it and inside was a convieniently placed shotgun. There seemed to be 7 bullets inside it and 7 right beside the gun in slots as if it were meant to be an emergency weapon. Well it was an emergency so he pocketed the extra shells and took the shotgun in hand while placing his pistol in it's holster. He then left the train with Kei, for obviously staying in it could cause them to be cornered in, after all, they'd have to face it anyways. As they both left the door closed itself and locked. Ryan tried it to be sure and it wouldn't budge. "There's no turning back."

The sight of the monster made Kei gag, as she raised a firearm to shoot it, it raised it's massive clawed arm, and ran at them. It seemed pinpointed on her more so than Ryan, so she rolled out of the way, just in time. The monster's claw was stuck in the side of the train...but not for long, as he ripped them out with ease. That's when she had an idea. She watched as the wall of the facility go up as they went down. She'd need him to get stuck on that, and without any footing, it'd be very difficult to get free. She'd just need to make sure attention was kept on her, and didn't drift to Ryan. She squeezed the trigger and let three bullets embed themselves into it's the exposed vein. "Come on, come and get me..." She taunted it quietly. It popped it's neck, as it got ready to charge again.

Ryan was about to fire a shell at it but figuring that it was a shotgun and Kei was over there, firing would be a very silly thing to do. All Ryan could do was watch, then he realized the determined look on Kei's face, she had something planned. He looked around for anything, anything to use but couldn't find a thing so he just stood uselessly waiting for a chance to do anything.

Kei was happy Ryan decided to stay back, less of a chance he'd be attract the monster's attention. Again, he sped at her, and Kei simply backed away as far as she could, waiting for the right time. Her ability to catch on quickly was going to pay off right here, and it was all in the way the monster charged. When it was almost in striking distance, she dived right between its legs, as the claw missed her completely, and lodged itself into the wall of the facility. The platform left its feet, as it began to flail around helplessly. Kei smiled, and taunted it. "Can't get me now. It seemed a tiger had been hitchhiking a ride, and noticed the stuck monster. Quickly it emerged from it's hidey hole and began to crawl up the wall to the Tyrant. For once in her life, she was relieved to see a spider.

Ryan cocked an eyebrow at the flailing creature and it made him think of how comedic the situation now was. Heck, even the spider was an added effect, feasting on another BOW. Though Ryan found it funny he couldn't find it in him to laugh so he just smiled. He then looked at Kei and walked up to her. "Nice." He said with much respect in his voice. 'She could've been in STARS, hell, she could've made one hell of a USS operative.' He said mentally as he waited for the lift to reach it's destination.

The lift met the ground, and the locks were set. Kei stepped off and took the time to study the surroundings. "Incredible..." She mused. But like the rest of the facility had been, it was vacated. "Wait a minute...where is everyone...the scientists...guards maybe?" A facility this covert would probably have many officials working many hours of the day, especially if it was this big. -Where to start...- she mentally noted, waiting for Ryan to join her.

Ryan took a gander at the surroundings and shrugged, suddenly something nearly fell on him and splattered right next to him. He was shocked and fell on his but covered in blood. It was the monster, obviously dead. It must've shook itself loose. The spider was nowhere in sight, must not've enjoyed the meal. He was lucky it didn't fall on him or else it would definately had killed him. When Ryan stood up he realized he hadn't been on this floor. He recognized the large doors straight ahead of him, it was the large elevator. But there was a hallway that lead to another door at left, and another door at right. Ryan pointed at the right one. "Let's try here." He said as he entered the room which seemed to have a good surplus of ammunition. There also seemed to be an unconcious little girl in a red vest on a bed.

Kei inspected her. "She's alive...and seems to have been well cared for." Kei unzipped the vest to inspect for hidden martial wounds, and found a chain and locket around her neck. She slowly removed it from her neck, and opened it. There was a picture of three people. The child was no doubt her, and the other two must have been the parents. The male had something in his hand, but she paid no attention to that. She could see very blurry, but recognizable images of the Umbrella logo on their lab coats. "Think fast." She called to Ryan, and tossed the locket to him. "Do you know the two scientists?"

Ryan caught the locket and one look and he knew who they were. "William and Annette Birkin.... So this is their daughter..." He said looking at the child. He didn't know her name but was informed that they did indeed have a spawn. He then walked up to her and also inspected her. "I think she's infected." He said simply. He wasn't for sure but knew the major trait of the G-Virus, after all, he was one of the ones who were trying to retrieve it.

"What makes you think that? I see no wounds..." Kei took the locket from him and put back on her neck, and finally zipped it up. "So what are going to do with her? Just leave her? I mean she's only a child."

Ryan sighed. "Well the main attribute to the G-Virus is that when someone is infected and mutates, they have the ability to plant embryos. Normally people would reject the embryo and they'd just simply die. Yet if it were to infect someone with the same genetic code then there is a much larger chance that the subject wouldn't reject it so quickly." Ryan explained. "Which means, that Birkin must have been looking for her.. And judging her condition, I believe he got to her. We have no clue of knowing when the embryo is going to pupate, and we don't want to be around if that happens. As for a cure? I don't know.. There's hardly one for the T-Virus."

"Knowing you Umbrella people." Kei began bitterly. "You'd just try eliminating your problem." Assuming he was going to just shoot her. "Well, perhaps when you're through with that, you can tell me where we are going? Who knows maybe we'll find more people like this you can lodge a bullet into."

Ryan cocked an eyebrow. "I wasn't going to kill her but we can't take her with us." Ryan said then shook his head. He didn't want to say anymore. He felt accused. 'Damn, what's her problem?' He thought to himself as he turned and left the room, obviously quite upset. He may work for Umbrella, but it's not like he was totally heartless. He could kill a man, and if he had to, a woman, even a zombie child, but he couldn't live with himself to kill a living helpless child. He suggested that he'd let her do all the talking from here on and give the silent treatment for a bit and see how she handles the situation, after all, he didn't have much to live for anymore.

Kei turned around to face Ryan after they left that rune. He looks upset. Perhaps she shouldn't have prejudged, but alot of what Umbrella has been doing had no limits, they'd kill anyone infected, even children. She took a deep breath and tried to grovel. "I'm sorry..." She began sincerely. "I shouldn't have snapped. It's just that...you know Umbrella's little squads of soldiers they sent into the city? Well, the frequency of their radios linked with theirs...they find a child probably no more than ten judging by the voice. She said she'd been bitten...and their response? Two gunshots." No answer. "And now they are going to demolish an entire city. I know they mean well, but they are...how should I put it? Heartless." Still no answer. She sighed again. Maybe groveling wasn't a good idea. She swiped the map from him. "I guess you're gonna give me the cold shoulder for a while, huh? Fine. I'll lead us through this." She took a couple seconds to study the map. -What the hell is a breeding station?- she mentally noted.

Ryan only looked at her and gave her a sigh before turning away to let her study the map. Suddenly the turn table seemed to move and ascend. Ryan watched it, knowing that a human must've pushed it, maybe they'll cross paths at one point. When Kei would be finished he would walk towards the door to the left, being the first in, he would notice that it's a large shaft. Power seemed to be running fine. There were two paths, he'd decide to let Kei figure the way. He thought hard about what she said about them killing the child. 'Perhaps it was for the childs well being, after all, who wants to feel the pain of dying from a virus only to turn to an undead a half an hour later?' He thought mentally and gave her a glance but turned away quickly. The men who shot the kid had more bravery than Ryan, he just couldn't do it, no matter the benefit.
