"I don't see what could of happened here...and I know the police won't tell me a thing..." She thought outloud. Her cellphone rang again. She looked to see who it was and pressed the accept button. "Yes?" There was a short pause. "I'm sorry, but I can't meet you right now. I'm...busy at the moment..." Another short pause and Jillian said bye. Jillian hung up and looked around.
"Oh my god...I need to go now...I'll just watch the news I guess." She walked towards her car and past Sola and Ayami. ' I bring my lizards go see that doctor...and that other girl is the singer...' Jillian thought as she past them. She finally made it to her car and she saw Ray sitting at the passenger's side. "Where do you live again, Ray?" She asked and he told her as they drove away. Jillian dropped the man at him home and she drove to her own.

*ring, ring, ring* " "Wimbleton residents!" "Becky! Call the cops! there is a-" I hang up the phone. "Mommy! Mommy! Was that Daddy?" the small girl chimed in. "I'm sorry, hon. It wasn't." "Aww.... okay" *ring, ring, ring* "Can I answer it?" the small girl asked. "I got it sweetie. you can go watch T.V." Scooby-doo played in the background as Beckie thumbed through an apartment listing. "Justin! are you in there!" "Yeah Mum." Justin was five, and big for his age. He had nearly black hair and blue eyes. Kimberly was three and a half, had sandy blond hair like her father, and blue-grey eyes. CRASH! Glass tinkled to the floor. "Justin! you Okay!?" He didn't answer. "he's probably playing baseball in his room, again." I said to myself. I walked through the hallway, expecting to see him hiding under a table. I didn't. I expected to find him under my bed. I didn't. I walked to his room. "OH MY GOD!" I shrieked. There he was, face-down on the floor, next to a baseball tee and plastic bat, with a huge gash on the back of his head! A brick with a note tied to it lay on the floor, feet from where Justin lay. It was blood stained. "one by one by one" is all it said, and It was signed by a "Vinnie". "MOMMY! HELP ME! HELP! HEL-" "KIMI!" I lay on the floor, sobbing. I did not dare see what was in the living room. *scooby-dooby-doo where are you...*

Jillian opened the door to her home and closed it behind her. She locked it and flipped on some switches. Jillian walked and stopped at a wall with pictures. "Why am I here? Was it my promise? My...No, your dreams? You always wanted me to be what you thought I would be..." She looked at her father's picture. Jillian remembered his last words very well. "Jillian, I'm sorry..." A tear rolled down her cheek and she began to cry.
She understood now. Jillian understood what he had meant. She leaned against the wall and bit her lip, trying not to make any more sounds. She sunk to the ground. 'The feeling of failure...You had nothing to say sorry about.' "Jillian?" A male's voiced asked. "You home?" His hands were placed gently on her shoulders. "Are you alright?" He asked, pulling her up and closer. He was gentle and yet strong. The man pulled her into a hug. "You've had another rough day, huh? You should get some rest." He whispered to her.
Jillian nodded and they walked up the stairs. Her head rested on his shoulder as they walked. Jillian got changed and she climbed into her bed. "Thank you." She whispered. They were first just two buissness people, then friends, then a couple, and now she was going to get married. He was asleep and if he was awake, he would of told Jillian to go to sleep. Jillian took her remote and turned on the TV. After a few minutes of watching, she turned off the television.

" I guess so. Getting into clothes that hold more warmth then this dress sounds alot better. My name is Sola Valance, and yours would be?" she asked the other asian looking woman. The cool night breeze passed right through her, a slight shiver over took her. ( Writers Block )

"Ayami Garnet. I'm a veterinarian for an animal clinic a few miles south of here." She answered the singer's question, helping her into her sedan. After closing the door for her, she went around to the drivers side, and flipped all the knobs to the heater on. "There that should keep us warm...where do you live now?" (yesh...i have it too...but my song is playing!)

the old swivel chair flew out the back window. "Out with the old, in with the new..." John said. He placed a new desk chair in the place behind the old drug lord's desk "I mean my desk" I whispered. "So what if she won't answer the phone! I don't need her! Screw her!" I said as I tried one last time. I plopped down on the suede chair. "This is the life..." I said. "Boss! we got problems on- heeey, you're not Boss!" a gang member hissed. He was dressed in a white tank top that smelled of sweat and cocaine, jeans and a yellow bandanna. he had a shaved head, and sleeve tattoos on both arms. "You got a problem with that?" "What did you do?" the grunt inquired, as he reached for the gun in his back pocket. "you don't wanna do that," I said as I began to shuffle through the papers on the late Antonio Martinez's desk. "why?" Half joking, I replied, "Because I know where you live..." He continued to reach for his machine pistol. "you really don't wanna do that..." I warned one last time. I had gone through the entire office while this place was empty. there was a Desert Eagle in the bottom drawer of the desk, a SPAZ-12 just left of my feet, a 30-6 M1 on the wall behind me, and of course I had my trusty police-issue glock, all of them loaded of course. "watcha gonna do? I got the gun?!" he said, taunting me. His had was gripping the gun. I got up slowly, and walked up to him. "Do you know who you're speaking to?" "Yeah," the gang member said, "a dead man!" "I am the new drug lord. my name is Johnathan Wimbleton, and you Will address me as such!" I saw him deep in thought, questioning somethng... "OH SHIT HOLMES!" Soooooo... what happened to Tony?!" "He had an accident..." "OH SHIT!" "What dammit?!" "y-you kids?!" "I got kids. Two of 'em." "OH SHIT!" "WHAT!" "Me and two other guys, we, uh..." I picked him up and slammed him into the wall. I could feel everyone watching. "We...uhh..." I shoved my forearm into his throat. I looked at his eyes, and saw a reflection of mine. What am I doing! this isn't me! Look at him! I can't do this! He wants to live! I am heartless! "WE KILLED THEM! ONLY THE WIFE IS LEFT!" there went the last of my humanity, morality I grabbed him by the back of the head, and threw him into the desk, until he went limp. I threw him in front of the door, and opened it. "Does anyone know this man!?" "What did you do the Jose!?" a nameless face questioned. "this is what happens when you don't listen to me..." I knelt down and gently woke Jose up\ "ung... ahhhh..." "Are you gonna wave a gun at me again?" He shook his bloodied head "no". I walked into my office, leaving him to clear his head, before going back to work. I heard a lot of mumbling as I came back out. "Did you learn your lesson?" "yes." "DID YOU!?" "yes." "obviously not." I snarled as I grabbed the SPAZ that I slid behind the door. "OBVIOUSLY NOT!" I pulled the trigger. why did I pull that trigger? that was the first event that put me here! the transition moment between man. compassionate man, and beast. an animal. heartless. You can still find pieces of his face on those old windows...

" I live in the apartmnet complex on the corner of Third and Jackson" Sola answered to Ayami. She leaned back into the warming seat. ' Gods this feels incredible' she thought very lazily. This feeling of security, warm.... missing that so dearly. ' I miss them' she thought to herself. " Thank you..." she said in a low tone.

the swivel chair squeeked as he turned around, to face the window. "what to do, what to do, what to do?" I gotta do something big to announce my arival "Let's see, I could bust this 'Vinnie' character out of jail," the list kept growing as I shuffled through the stack of sticky notes. "a wisecracking businessman need a cliched death" He said as he looked over the import/export dock. "I could start up the coke and heroine rings." The list never stopped. "Wait... that Sola girl..." he said as he looked at some candid photos from outside her home's windows. "That'll work..."

"What's.. His... Name?" Threatened a deep, serious tone. "I-I dunno!" Yelled a frightened hoodlum. The sound of a click was heard, then a laugh. "You dont have very many chances." Sneered the man, a revolver firmly in his grip. Six chambers, one of which has a single bullet. "His name?" He asked again, a smirk growing on his face. "Ok! His name is Johnathan Wimbleton! Please dont kill me!" Cried the man. The other male just laughed and pulled the trigger, another click was heard but no bullet was expelled. "Today's your lucky day. But if I'm forced to see your face again, may god have mercy on you." He said and laughed yet again as he filled the revolver with five more bullets, he also got to see where the bullet was, had he pulled the trigger two more times, the man would've been dead. The aggressive male put the gun in it's holster which was concealed by a large coat, he then began to walk off, leaving the man chained to a fence, but before he left, he also duct taped the man's mouth. 'Johnathan...' The name rang in his head as a slick determination overcame him.

"Some guy wants you, sir!" the man at the door yelled across the warehouse. "Alright Tiny." I descended the stairs and walked through the maze of machines. "Yeah?" I said, looking through the small window. "We need to pick up our boat!" the elderly man lost himself twenty yards away from the boat shop. "Wrong building!" "I swear it isn't!" He contradicted. "Yeah, I swear it is." I said, storming off. "Third one this week!" "Anyways, that Sola girl..." I asked to a man in my "inner circle". "Alright. Sola Valance, age: eighteen, height: five foot seven, occupation: waiter. Sometimes plays the part of a lounge singer." "Who finds these things out?! the pictures!?" "Some men here have no life, sir..." "I can tell..." I started chewing on a pen, and looked through the open window on my "subjects". "Get my Jesus, Kat, Ramon, and that Ghetty kid..." "kidnapping?" "that's my plan... a little leverage on this terrible town's income might do some good."

Jillian picked up her the telephone and she punched in a few numbers. "Oh Hello, May I speak with Mr. Jay Masters?" She asked and she heard the normal, 'May I ask who is speaking?' "His Sister, Jillian Masters." Then she heard the, 'One moment, please' and then the occasional hold music. "I hate this music." She muttered and then she heard her brother.
"Mr. Jay Masters speaking, how may I help you?" Jay's voice was formal and buisness like. "You don't sound like that when talking to your workers." She heard Jay chuckle. "Now, what might be the matter? You almost never call me when I'm at work." He said and she sighed. "You see there was an attack at the bar place I go to. They were like gangsters...or something...." She paused and then continued, "Tell Amanda and Jordan to come straight home." Jay was slightly confused but then he got it. "They can't get my kids and asked for money. I have guards walking them to school!"
"Alright...I'm sorry. It's just...I worry." She heard him chuckle again. "You worry too much...Ha Ha HA! You do...Don't worry." He then hanged up and she flopped down and onto her pillow. "Ever since we were kids...I worried about the slightest things." She shook her head and sighed. Maybe it was time to hit the hay.

"Hmm...that's good. I pass that way going home." Ayami put her sedan in gear, and pulled off from the curb. "If you don't mind me asking...uh...what happened in there? I mean if you don't want to talk about it, it's fine." (shorty...like Steve Irwin's life :-()

" Honestly. It was an entire blur to me. One minute I was done performing the next these men in flak jackets and bullet proof vest stormed in. Taking hostage of myself and several others. Then they escaped in their newly aquired vehicles. Throwing us aside. Then another man from their team didn't leave. He turned out to be a police officer or something along the lines of that. And they didn't follow which kinda makes me wonder" she replied back to Ayami. It was odd though. Were they going to catch them when they leave or something?

The man walked on the side walk until he stopped to think. 'I wouldn't doubt this guy has enough people to shred me, however, he himself wont stand a chance.' Thought the man confidently as he leaned against a wall, right in front of the apartment complex. (The one Jo and Terry are headed.) He would look like your average murderer or theif due to his attire, but he had no care, nobody will try anything.

" There it is" she pointed out to the friendly stranger. ' Sometime it really amazes me that there is some shred of humanity left on this planet' she cynically thought. Her past no longer haunted her but rather hindered her befliefs in other people. Seeing how easily her mother tossed her aside without another thought. Wouldn't that influence you later on in life after all?
