Background
Lisa was born to Jessica and George Trevor, 1953. Several years after her birth, Ozwell E. Spencer hired George to design a special mansion complex for him, which would also host a secret underground laboratory. Spencer eventually became paranoid that George would someday leak the secrets of the Mansion to the public, and ordered his henchmen to apprehend and execute George. Instead of being done away with immediately, George was thrown into a secret compartment of the mansion, and endured a subtle and lonely demise.
While George was writhing in his eternal resting place, Lisa and George were kidnapped by Spencer’s henchman and used as human test subjects for the Progenitor virus. On November 10th, 1967, Lisa was administered the “B-Type” variation of the Progenitor virus, while Jessica was administered the “A-Type” variation. Jessica’s bodily systems were able to fight off the virus, while Lisa fell body immediately began to exhibit signs of mutation. Over a period of time, Lisa’s both mental and physical were grotesquely altered.
Lisa’s mental deterioration culminated when she began to develop a morbid obsession to remain with her mother. Ultimately, Lisa killed her mother by mutilating her face. Thinking her mother was an imposter, Lisa began to aimlessly hope for her mother’s return, and vowing to return her face upon their reunion. For safe keeping, Lisa attached her mother’s face to her own, wearing it like a mask.
Even after her mother’s death, Lisa continued to sever as a test subject for even more biological experiments. Unlike her fellow, more unfortunate test subjects, Lisa was able to survive all of their tests, regardless of the potency of the implanted virus or parasite. Upon earning the attention of Umbrella Corporation researches Albert Wesker and William Birkin, who pitted their formidable guinea pig against a specimen that was infected with the Nemesis virus. To the astonishment of the researches, Lisa not only killed the specimen, but also managed to absorb the Nemesis virus. Ultimately, this was a major breakthrough for the Umbrella Corporation, which would later go on to play a pivotal role in engineering of the G-Virus.
After the Nemesis Virus was extracted form Lisa, the Umbrella Corporation lost interest in her. As time passed, Lisa’s mutations and loneliness lead her to become increasingly violent. On one occasion, she brutally assaulted and killed three lab researches. As Lisa was now seen a vestigial threat, Umbrella Corporation officials called for Lisa’s destruction. Sometime in 1995, Lisa was supposedly slain in an undisclosed area of Spencer’s estate. However, little did the Umbrella Corporation realize, the myriad of experiments conducted on Lisa has left her impervious to almost all forms of physical battery. Lisa would go on lurk through the catacombs of Spencer’s estate, secretly claiming residency in a neglected cabin.
During the 1998 “Arklay Mountains Incident”, various members of Raccoon City’s Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) encountered Lisa while seeking refuge in Spencer’s mansion. After uncovering her mother’s skull in the depths of the catacombs, an emotionally crazed Lisa jumped into a nearby abyss. Although Lisa is presumed dead, it is possible she may have survived the fall, and latter explosion due to her “invincibility”.
Appearance
As aforementioned, Lisa’s mutations have hideously distorted her physical build. Lisa’s hideous face is partially masked by collections of flesh from her victims. During some cutscenes, one may be able to notice one of Lisa’s uncanny eyes. Her oversized arms and hunchback resembles the body build of an orangutan. Furthermore, Lisa is draped in a tattered hospital gown, and chained to wooden mechanism, which acts as a pair of handcuffs. Nevertheless, Lisa is able to deal considerable amounts of damage to her victims, and should not be confronted head-on.
While in various parts of Spencer’s estate, one is capable of hearing the harrowing wails and cries of Lisa. This characteristic suggests that Lisa is incapable of utilizing a higher level of thought, and therefore conforms to a more animalistic nature. However, it should be noted that Lisa was able to start a fire in order to keep warm, and write a few entire in her journal.
