"I better make sure I don't waste these five bullets...Leon didn't give me more...shoot." Claire stoped at a four way intersection and scanned each of the ways. It seemed that from the left and right groups of zombies were aimlessly wandering. She surely didn't want to get eaten alive, so she ran straight ahead, looking for an alternative route to the RPD. Claire guessed that she was far from it and sighed hopelessly. "I'm all alone.."

Yoko shook her head. "W-What's going on?" She asked as her respiration finally calmed. "I was in my apartment... And... That man.. Their blood... It's all coagulated.. But they're still alive.. Their so violent.. Is.. That even possible?" She asked, her mind spinning in different directions.

"That's the first thing I said when I was examining the bodies...but we shouldn't worry about this right now. Eventually they'll figure out we're in here....not that it is safer anywhere. Not even we, the SWAT team, can keep this under control." Kei hit her radio for a fourth time and not getting a signal, she simply discarded it. "Cheap equipment." She muttered, then faced Yoko again. "You you have a firearm of any kind with you?"
David saw a figure who seemed to be closing in near by. Not wanting it to get the jump on him first, he ran for it about to lunge with the spear he tossed together. But realizing that this boy was still human, he stopped himself, and caught his breath. "God kid, what the hell are you doing?" He said, breathing heavily. "You need to get out of here."

"I would if I could." he said, surprised that there was another survivor. He was surprised that the man was about to attack him with the spear at first. "Not to be rude or anything but, Who are you?" he asked, he did not want to repeat the first mistake.

Yoko nodded and held up the handgun. "I can't hit anything with it.. Luck had to shoot it for me." She chuckled just to ease her nerves. A sigh broke the chuckle as her eyes wandered to the ground. "We're not going to make it out of this.. Are we?..." She asked dully as she entered the bar. 'I won't get the chance to remember.. If I die..' She thought to herself and sighed a second time.

"You can call me David. Full names are for friends." He said coolly. "Now tell me...do you know if any other surviors are present. Though how much I'd rather not, I know we're going to need other people to get out of this place." He looked around. -I like working alone...have no one else to worry about that way.- He thought to himself.
Kei forced a smile. The young woman seemed to express despair. "I'm sure that it will be alright." She said in a comforting tone and put her hand on her shoulder, like the way a teacher would comfort a student in a time of severe unease. "We'll just need to find a method of escape...but it seems everyone is trying to do their part. Even Umbrella. They have evac points all over the city. Maybe we can head to one of those." She looked around. "Hmm...you think there is a phone?"

"My name is Liam. I have met one girl, I think her name was Yoko, but we got seperated a while ago." he said, looking back towards his house. "There is no turning back...they are both dead..." he said, thinking it was to himself.

Yoko calmed herself. It was hard but she had to keep going. She brushed back a strand of hair after the woman asked the question. "I'm sure there is... But the real question is.. Would the phone work..?" She said as she unknowingly stepped into a puddle of blood on teh wooden floor. When the smash of the liquid caught her ears, she looked down and felt sick as she quickly moved away from it. 'What the hell is going on...?' She thought to herself as she came to the conclusion that thinking about it right now would only slow her down.

Kei located the phone on the desk and picked the receiver up. Dead line. She sighed. "We have no connection with anyone now....but I've been in worse situations." A failed attempt at being optimistic. "I'm afraid to say this..but we're going to need to head west...so we can get into the police station." She tried to say that a softly as she could. "You'll need to use your gun this time. Don't be afraid of it. And just do your best..."
"You have any idea where she could be?" He responded to that. (david filler! ^.^)

"No, I don't know where she is..." he said, still looking back at the house, a tear running down his face. "But knowing the current scenario, she will most likely head towards the other police deprtment." he said, knowing it was a prime place to hide.

Yoko wasn't surprised at the woman's face when she found out there was no connection to the phone. Then she had said her idea. 'A police station? There's cops there... They have guns.. They could keep those things back.' The first drop of hope and Yoko smiled. "Right." She nodded, she looked at the gun. She had been afraid to use it before, that's why she missed, but she'd calm herself next time. "Oh.. I'm Yoko." She said when she broke her glance off of the 9mm.

"Sergeant Kei Tagachi....friends call me Kei...you want to call me Kei?" She said with a smile. "We do have a long walk ahead of us though. If you want to risk it, we can always go back to my truck at the barricade. The body bags in the back have probably left already..."
"Come on, kid. No time for emotions. We need to get moving...follow me." David simply stated, and beckoned Liam to follow. He ran out onto the street, and scanned around. No sign of life or undead.

Yoko nodded. "Kei.." She whispered to herself for rememberence. "We should take the truck. It'd be safer.." She said. Even if they ran into some in the truck they would easily be dispatched. However being out in the open with them running around will waste more ammo not to mention wear down the two. A car was the best bet.

"RIght..." Liam said, following David. He shook the guilt from his thoughts and decided to focus on surviving.

"Okay, let's go." Kei lead Yoko back to the barricade, where the cadavers seemed to be moping around now. There weren't many, and Kei felt cocky for a moment. -Haha, I got this.- She mentally noted, and was about to step into action to clear the way. But she stopped suddenly. The bodies of her deceased teammates began to stir, twitches as first, but then they escalated to limb movement and finally standing fully upright. She sighed, knowing she'd be screwed if she tried to take this on alone. Giving herself a moment to think, she snapped her fingers as the idea came. She pushed the keys into Yoko's hand. "Can you drive a stick?" She simply stated.
-Move to any signs of possible life...- He thought to himself, scanning for siren flashes, sounds of screaming for help, car engines, the like. "Siren flashes in the distance...the police checkpoint! Come on, kid!"
