"I'm right behind you." he said, moving at the same speed david was. He did not want to be seperated again. He was hoping that the checkpoint was safe.

Claire entered the police station, mentally hearing music, that played in the background of a movie when something bad was going to happen, and slowly opened the door. "Hello? Is anybody here? Leon? Anybody?" She closed the door behind her and cautiously walked and looked through a window, only to scream in surprise and fall on her ass, to push herself away from the window. Another one of those things popped out and she didn't know what it was really, but what really scared her was the sudden splash of blood on the window and the break of the window.
"Whoa! It's okay! I'm not going to hurt you!" A man came through the broken window and went over to kneel by Claire. "Name's Brian Hawkins. Nice to meet you, but you really shouldn't put your gaurd down like you did... and shouldn't be so jumpy.." He had untidy and messy, short brown hair and green eyes. He looked like he hadn't shaved in a while, but he seemed nice. Brian was dressed in a black suit that came with a black tie and a white dress shirt. He helped her up, before wiping a smudge of blood on his black shoes. "I'm was a cop. Detective...but no one calls me that...anymore." Brian smiled, and showed her his badge, that didn't mean much to anyone anymore.
"An officer?" Claire asked. "Then you can help me! What's going on in this city!?" She shouted. "I don't know," He admitted, "but I do know that you can kill these things by hitting them in the head. Injuring and so." He grabbed her hand, noticing that she had a gun, and moved her to where his office was. "You see...I have extra stuff you may need. You need more bullets right?" Claire nodded and followed him.

Yoko looked at the keys and nodded. "I think so." She said and turned, heading for the driver's side. 'What's she planning? To take them on by herself?' She thought. Yoko was cautious when she went by the door. She was no stranger to horror flicks; there's always something there to jump out at you. She took a deep breath and held it as she flung open the door, only to find absolutely nothing. She gave a sigh of relief as she shifted herself on the leather seat. 'Hurry.' She thought as she readied the car. Just then a zombie bursted out from behind her and grabbed her. Doing the smartest thing first, she quickly put her hand to it's neck so that he wouldn't bite her. 'Aim and shoot..' There was no way she could miss from this range. She slowly brought up the gun while fighting with man with the other. She then fired and it fell dead in the back. She was stunned but that was quickly eased by the feeling of success. She then continued to wait for Kei to finish whatever she had in mind.

While Yoko was waiting, it seemed the zombies were drawn to the sound of the gunshot, and, thinking of a potential meal, they headed in a mob for the truck. Although Kei was using a shotgun, she couldn't get them all...especially since this one was twenty-gauge. She'd need to think quick on this one. The trunk of the police car she was taking cover behind was open, and she looked for something she could use. She smiled as she saw it; a flare. She lit it quickly, and threw it in the opposite direction of them...and a stone afterwards, so they would be interested in it. But that seemed to grab the attention of something else...something much more agile, and better armed. Kei didn't notice it...until a large metal claw embedded itself into the side of the police car inches from her chest. She wasn't sure how it missed, but she wasn't complaining. Quickly, she scrambled for the truck, as the green monster freed itself from the car.
"Wait...this just might be a waste of our time. I'm not spending precious minutes of my life looking for someone who isn't even there...the police station is certain to have people. If they're as smart as I would assume them to be, perhaps they evacuated some people to their station." David quickly turned around. "New plan, we're going North...to the station."

Yoko glared at the zombies now bashing upon the side windows, luckily, they weren't bashing hard enough for them to break. She then moved her hand to the gear shift, she knew this. Suddenly she heard something fall in the back. She turned back, it was Kei. "Hold on!" She called out then taking this time she quickly forwarded it to drive and began moving the truck. The truck was difficult to drive, especially trying to get past the police cars but she succeeded. The ride was bumpy with the new found rubble on the streets. Yoko glanced away from the road for just a second and caught a glimse of the sky. It was black with ashe and smoke. This town was finished, as far as she knew, the whole world was finished. She then set her gaze back upon the road, heading for where she assumed was the police station.

"Thanks, Detective." Claire said stuffing her pockets with some extra ammo. "Ah, Detective? I said no one needs to call me that and no problem. There isn't much left here and I already checked...We should raid a gunshop or something. And its my pleasure helping out a young lady." She rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. "It's weird hearing that from an officer. I thought you enforce the law..." Brian followed after and sighed. "Well, in this situation the law has already crumbled, because everyone is dead...and we need it. That is...if we want to make it alive, but we can search here for a while." Claire nodded and they separated to look for anything of use.

Kei was still shocked at the monster she saw. "D-Did you see that?" She asked her from the back. "I've never seen anything like it. It looked reptilian...but I think it was a robot...or something. Lots of strange things are happening right now...." She took a deep breath to calm herself. "Walking dead...robot lizards...wouldn't be surprising if these were connected."

"Huh?" Yoko asked. "See what?" She asked again. Then Kei explained what it had looked like. Suddenly a picture flashed in her mind. "Large shoulders.. Sharp claws.. Razor teeth. Green with a black leathery back.." Yoko mumbled. How did she know this? "Kei, climb over to the passenger seat.. I need help finding the way to the police station." Yoko asked calmly as she swerved to avoid hitting the undead, after all, if they go under the tires it could cause the truck to tip over.

Claire hated the sound of glass crunching under her feet, or the sound of her thumping heart, or of her slow and steady breaths. It was quiet and she hated it. She turned the corner quickly and held her gun arm's length away from her body, keeping it steadily pointed in front of her. Cautiously, she walked into a room filled with cabinets and then she closed the door behind her. "I wonder if anything in here could be useful...to what could be happening. I hope there is." She knelt beside a stack of folders and looked through them.
Brian walked to the phone on his desk and cursed. "It's dead..." He muttered, before heading out of the room to get a radio. Earlier that day, he had left it in another office at the RPD on his girlfriend's desk. He worried about her and tried to reassure himself that she wasn't dead, but the thought of it was still there. Brian walked into the office and picked up his radio and pocketed it. "This will be good."

"Oh, sure." Kei responded simply, and squeezed her way through the seats into the passenger end. She reached over to the on-board computer, and faced it to herself. The sound of clacking could be heard as she brought up a GPS. It acted like Tom Tom in a way, saying when to turn and what not. "Here you go." Kei told Yoko. "This thing will tell you where to go...it's probably the only expensive thing Irons bought with the police funds."

Claire flipped through a file that had her brother's name on it and gasped, covering her mouth as she did. Apparently, there was a report about a mansion with monsters and Umbrella involved. She skimmed through it, knowing she didn't have much time, so she didn't know every detail, but she knew enough to assume why her brother was missing and that the mansion incident was connected to Umbrella, supposedly.
Maybe, the things happening to Raccoon was also connected to Umbrella, and she had a growing feeling that the event was. She skimmed on further and found out that the monsters were also at the mansion. "So...they are related!" Claire looked all the way to the bottom of the page and saw the word T-virus highlighted and next to it, that was also highlighted, was Tyrant virus. "T-virus?" What's a T-virus? Could this be something...important?
She continued to read on and gave a heavy sigh. Chris had already left the city and went to Europe in order to investigate Umbrella's activities. So something is up with Umbrella. Claire now knew that he was safe, but she would need a way to get out of this place, and she knew it wouldn't be easy. "Chris..." She moaned, "I came all the way here and got attacked just to look for you...and you're not even in the country."
Claire heard the door beginning to open and she put the file back in place, and pretended to be looking for something. "Hey... I found my radio. I don't know if it can be used though...Find anything?" She shook her head, and turned to look to Brian. "Thanks." She walked out and sighed. "Well...Maybe we can steal from dead people...You know... Look for anything useful on their decaying bodies?" Brian nodded and walked away from her again, but stopped after two steps. "I don't think I got your name." "Claire...Redfield."

"Thank you." Yoko responded. 'Not Scott Scott.' She thought with a chuckle to ease her mind. Her hands were shaky but she managed to keep the truck straight. She continiously glanced at the monitor then the road, taking turns here and there. Once she had to put on the breaks and take a U turn because a whole building collapsed due to a raging fire which caused the road to be filled with debris that the car couldn't clear. Before long she parked the truck at the front gate of the police station, but it seemed to be boarded up. "What now..?" She sighed.

"I imagine the gate to the parking garage is offline, too..." Kei began thinking, and quickly snapped her fingers. "You know, whenever we showed up late, my friends and me would take the rear door so we wouldn't have to deal with the captain in the front. As far as I know, that door is never locked. Come on, we can easily hop over any barricade that's been put in."
( Sorry Liam, as of now, my current attention span refuses to let me think of something for David.)

Yoko nodded. She felt discomforted with leaving the truck but there was nothing she could do. "Lead the way." She said as she left the car. 'I hope she's right.' Yoko thought. The barricade gave Yoko a comforting feeling. If it's barricaded then maybe they've held off the monsters. Perhaps there's a whole rescue team inside ready to take in anyone and protect them. She smiled as the spark of hope caught a flame of confidence.
