Atton looked at them just standing there stupidly, the new coming woman made a remark. "The illness makes them completely insane, or so I hear, it was likely they had a devastating riot-" He shook his head. "We don't have time to speak. Our next target is Xenix. There may be a sophist there that could be of use." He saw Amelia's blank stare at the word 'sophist' and Atton remembered she wasn't from NessonDroma so she may not be familiar with that term. "I believe you in Winast call them philosophers." He turned to the mask gentleman. "His mysterious-ness." He addressed the man in the same context the latter used in their first engagement; royalty learns to adapt to others' customs quite rapidly, it would be a dishonor to offend someone. "Will you be joining us?"

Innvas looked at the prince with surprised eyes. "His mysterious-ness?" That was a first. "Oh, your princeliness... To be addressed in such a way is quite surprising, but thank you..." He nodded his head and then coughed, signaling that he had more to say. But by now, it probably wasn't a surprise to the people in front pf him because the odd man always had things to say.
"Completely insane? No, no, your princeliness... I don't think so! They are sick people in the body and in their minds..." Innvas made a face and with his hands he did a circular motion. "A happy moment plays... plays like a never ending dream...That is not insanity! You act as if everything in this bloody world is..." He paused and made another face. Innvas thought of something and scratched his chin.
Without thinking twice, he broke away from the current topic and began speaking to himself. His thoughts poured from out of his mind and through his mouth. They became voiced. "Bloody...Oh..I've seen too much of that..." He looked around, but when he did, he looked passed the others as if they weren't there."This village still has the stentch of death and blood...Copper tasting and red..red, red..red...The color red..." He stopped looking and suddenly his expression changed. "Ooooo! As red as the Titanic's lettering! Big, humongous lettering...So ornate and so designed...pure art...art! I can't wait!" His expression changed once again. "Nooo...no... I'll be late! I'm too slow! I'll be late for the airship to Xenix! My mind and body crawls at a slugs pace...oh so slowly..."
A look of realization made its way onto his face and then he turned to the others. "You're still here?" He asked, almost surprised. "I thought you all left... Ah...I see. My mistake. My poor, poor mistake, but then again...I have room for these mistakes..." He looked at Atton and then looked away. "Oh! The topic at hand! I'm very sorry, your princeliness!"
Innvas coughed and then continued. "As their minds slowly shut off...or quickly, mind you!" He clapped his hands together. "Their bodies act on their own...In their mind an endless dream of goodness plays, but all the goodness has a price...The illness plucks the body from their control! The infected person, animal, or in your wolf eater-ness' case, thing loses control of the body. When the dream starts, so does the laughter, but all other actions are not because of the person...Other than that horrid laughter...the other actions are because of the sickness. Well, they laugh, but the sickness turns that laughter into something far worst than normal torture... Torture me, torture you, torture all that can hear...Well..."
After another cough, he returned to the question he was asked earlier and frowned. Two out of the four people in front of them could hear the laughter well and that wasn't a good sign. If something were to happen, he felt that it would be his responsibility to clean up the mess. "Arg..." But still, he didn't want to travel in such a big group. The smell of horses and things were horrible, and if you added four more...then it would be a group of four smelly people, three smelly horses, one thing, and Innvas. "...I'd love too, really...but..." Innvas scratched the back of his head. Oh, he'd rather use magic to get there. "I have no horse. No horse to ride on or care for...or to love..." He did a fake sniff. "Poor, poor ponies.."

When the young songstress joined her companions they stared momentarily, then they all started up and talked among another. They all stated what was happening. These laughing, melodic voices coming from no where. Yet they were all around. Perhaps they were more like a vision or an illusion of some sorts. Yet she doubted that. Harle knew that this illness was far more diabolical.
"Poor, poor ponies.."
The woman finally snapped out of her stupor. Her thoughts drifting back to the topic at hand.
" Well then. I'm not sure to call you insanely genius or plain insane. Your hiding something, thats clear enough. Well we should leave, Xenix will take at least a fortnight by horseback" she spoke rather sharply. The singer was baiting to see Innvas' reaction, plus to get this show going.
She turned away from the group, walking towards her horse. Getting up on the beast, riding the mare side-sadle.

Innvas covered his mouth as if he was surprised by the woman's words, but in reality, he wasn't. "Either is fine. I've been called both and have been called worst. Like um..." He blinked and thought for a moment. After the moment, a look of actual surprise showed on his face. He cocked his eyebrow and looked at the others. "Oh...very, very strange. I can't seem to recall the names. No matter, not as important as the matter at hand..."
Then the singer said more and Innvas nodded at her words. "But your beautifulness..." He calmly looked up at her and gave her yet another kind smile. "Aren't we all? Everyone has something to hide and even though his princliness and your beautifulness are high up on the pyramid...Probably hounded by the rest of the lower society..." He paused. "They may know a lot about you, but still even you have secrets." His kind and friendly smile turned into a knowing one. "I'll admit to having my secrets if you admit to having your's."
He waited for a reaction and when he got some sort, he turned to walk away. "Well, well, well!" His normal mood returned. "Off you all go then! Godspeed! I'd come along, but as you can see...or cannot... I do not have a horse. I don't think I'd be able to follow you on foot..." Innvas frowned and looked at his feet. "I suppose I can travel at my own pace..." Or use magic. Definitely use magic..."Well I'm off to Nessondroma's Aerodrome, so I can then head to Xenix with an airship... Lovely really."

Dario, hearing the songstress's call to action, whistled for Kenrii. She came, slowly and cautiously, around the corner and stopped next to the man. Dario climbed on, and kicked her into a slow gait. As he looked towards that odd man, walking away, he scoffed and shook his head. "Aye, he's as insane as a man can get, I think." Dario sighed, while giving the very man a salute, touching his fist to his heart. "Ahai, friend! May your travels be..." He stood silent for a moment, thinking of the right word to use, "...prosperous!" He said this with the slightest hint of questioning. In a split second of doubt, he looked behind the group, towards the center of town, the strange altar. In the very deepest void of his mind, in the darkest corner, a little girl laughed. Then more joined, a man and a woman's voice burst out, hysterically. Biting his lip, he tried to turn his head, but somehow couldn't make himself. Be it his thief's curiosity, or his hero's intuition, or something else, but he couldn't turn away, and the voices grew. "Let's make haste! I know where we're headed!" Dario shook his head frantically, and sensing his eagerness, Kenrii became restless. Once again, he looked at the odd man walking through the town gates, and sprinted towards him. "What is this incessant laughing?!" Dario nearly tore his hair out at it, but he allowed himself to glance at the alter once more. "So maddening... AHHHH!" Dario drew his pistol and fired a round into the air. In the echoes resided silence. "I've never once encountered anything. Not like this."

Atton listened to the masked man speak, the laughing had died down for the time being so he was thankful to be able to pay full attention to the man's words. It was useful information, yes, but not useful enough, he knew more but Atton wouldn't impose. When the talk was done Atton nodded his head. "May we meet again." He called to the man. The laughing was still gone, he wondered how the others felt. Atton reared his horse and followed the others. He noticed Dario becoming more and more uneasy until he bursted out and began firing his gun. "Calm down." Atton said. "If you give in to the laughter you'll end up like everyone else in the town. We're almost out now." Finally they were on a dirt path, the trees began to appear and they smelt so nice compared to the town, Atton couldn't help but smirk a little at the relief that the laughing had ceased and the smell was gone. Off to Xenix. Atton had heard rumors of this place but never have been there before, they say it's amazing, then again, some people would say the same about NessonDroma, so when people in an amazing city say another city is amazing then it must be something grand.
