Ethan shrugged. His reflexes were quicker than his thoughts. He was trained on what to look for, weapon being the main one. She had a weapon and was raising it, he acted first and as a result of disarming her he wasn't forced to shoot her. After all, she could have easily shot him if he startled her or perhaps she could have been a security guard, he didn't give himself time to check. "Scared people do stupid things when armed." He merely said. She seemed to ignore him from there and ask the pilot some questions. Ethan decided to let the girls talk it out, after all, he attacked her and the pilot healed her. There likely wasn't going to be any friendly conversations between Ethan and them. He looked up at the vents above then decided to walk over to a desk that was in the lobby. More documents written on paper. These appeared to be funeral plans, there were some that said "cryo" and some that said "Driver". These likely meant where the bodies went, the cryocrypt or launched out of the mass driver towards Saturn. There was also another door at the side of the room. Above it said "shop". Makes sense, they probably had a shop installed as a means to encourage people to check out their electronic vending system to buy religious trinkets or clothes, and for making donations "for the good of the church". "I'm going to check out the shop." He said back at them, neither one payed him any mind. He shrugged and went to the door, it gave the green light and he was able to open it. It was just a small room with nothing but a shop and religious advertisements. He walked back out to where the girls were and interjected into their conversation. "Look, Mrs. Carlyle, if you're going to survive this you're gonna need get a RiG suit from the shop back here. You're pretty well for yourself, I'd be surprised if you don't have access to one and if not I'm able to get you access to a low-class RiG for emergency purposes... Oh and..." Her Divet was by his foot. He gave it a nudge with his foot and it slid gently towards Arabella.

Last rotation of the bandage material, and Riven cut it with a small surgical knife and used the medical adhesive, all contained in one medical kit, convenient! "Alright, that should see to your gash, should be right as rain in an hour...give or take." By now, Ethan had already left for the store, for whatever reason, the pilot would just assume he kept credits on him. For the time being, she'd just focus her attention on the stranger. "Obviously, there is something my... acquaintance there did happen to overlook. He and I have been branded traitorous by the chief of security here on your..." Riven says the next few words spitefully. "Beautiful, humble, little station, and are marked for capture or death, whichever they can come across easier. And in travelling with us, there will be a possibility that you too will be seen as accomplice and therefore, possibly subjected to the same repercussions." While Ethan might have thought it wasn't necessary, Riven didn't want to put more innocent lives at risk...well at least from risk of being shot at by an overzealous security trooper. "Obviously, there is no obligation to stick around with us for longer than you see necessary, though I believe sticking together gives us a higher chance to survive" The pilot looked over her shoulder, catching a glimpse of the inside of the church, before speaking again. "Whatever you wish to do, just bare in mind your arm needs to have as little undue stress upon it as possible in order to heal properly." And slowly, she started to head off in the direction Ethan had just gone. "So are you coming with us? Or not?"

Arabella cleared her throat and looked at the bandage. The pain was still there but she certainly thought that it looked a lot better. “Acquaintance…of course...true soldier material that one is…” She muttered more so to herself before the other woman began with her explanation. “Oh…traitorous? That is some distinction from others…” She would have asked the reason if it wasn’t for the fact of impending doom.
“If it is shooting… you’re worried about then show me to the chief of security or his lackeys… we have…history.” It wasn’t discreet, at all. Arabella had slept with him and had a ‘romantic relationship’ with him once upon a time. Luckily this was a heart to heart between women. Pfft.. yes because that’s what was needed now and days.
She walked over to the store and gave the boy an indignant look. “Ms. Carlyle. He changed his name for me. For a boy who reads, he does not read enough. I guess that’s one of the positive effects of being in the military. “ Then he continued to state the obvious. “Oh… and another, genius.” She picked up the gun from the floor and approached the shop.
Arabella didn’t like how he spoke to her or how he treated her as if she were a person with a lack of a brain. Was it the blonde hair? It might have been and in political situations she had always used that trait to her advantage. Too bad it wasn’t a political situation, she reminded herself.
Without another word from the boy wonder, she ordered the shop for a RiG and stepped inside. The door closed around her and she was given a suit, but when it came time to open, it didn’t. “FUCK! HELP” Her muffled screams came from behind the doors. When the shop started to work and its tools rotated around her, a hole was revealed and she fell right through it. Luckily, she had received her suit before the mishap, but it still sucked being shitted out.
If they figured out a way to get her out of this predicament, Robin and Batgirl would be surprised to see which suit she had. It wasn’t the best of suits, but she liked the helmet. She was promised maximum protection of her head and that was a good thing especially because of that traumatic experience that included her head. Now, back to the suit. It was the security suit of their pursuers. Yes boys and girls, she was wearing a Security suit.
How she got it? Well, she was persuasive and people would be amazed what some foreplay and blowjob could get you.

Ethan stayed quiet and stared at her as she went into the shop area. She sat in there and the thing closed. Ethan turned to the pilot and shrugged. "Blonds.." He grunted and then he heard the cry for help from the shop. Ethan walked up to it and grunted again. "I would but I'm too illiterate to read these odd hieroglyphs." He hit the open button. Nothing. He tried again. Nothing. "That's odd." Hitting a third time worked. The shop slid open but there was nobody inside. "MS. Carlyle?" He said, emphasizing the title this time. "HELLO?" He asked a little louder. He could hear thudding and probably her voice coming from the wall. The metallic thumping of her movements gave him reason to believe she was probably in a vent. Ethan had never seen a shop shit a person out. "I'd call it karma if I believed in it." He walked out and looked around the sides of the wall for some kind of opening. "There might be an opening in the church area. I'll check around here." He told the pilot and went back to the shop, stepping inside to check the back of it. He didn't see a hole, if she was in the wall how did she get there? Politicians weren't Houdini, the only thing they'd be able to get out of is a dinner dress... With help from a rich investor that is. After a few seconds of silence, Ethan walked out and followed through the open door into the church. It was quite fantastic looking. They had to have spent more on this hall alone than they spent on an entire apartment block. Ethan could see the pilot messing with a ventilation hatch. Military didn't have access to open them but they weren't hard to override. "Need help with that?" As he walked closer the light went green and the hatch opened. Out came a security suit, Ethan knew it wasn't a security guard, it wasn't yelling orders the minute it got out. "Cute." He said, his voice unamused by the sight of the security RiG. Tunk tunk tunk. "You were alone in there, right? Then what's that noise?" The sound came a bit more. It definitely wasn't any rat. It's much too heavy to be a rat. "What now...?" He got down on his knee and raised the plasma rifle and aimed it into the shaft. There was silence.... Then more silence. Whatever it was it appeared to be gone. "Okay then... If we're going lets go. I don't want the Unitologist people to notice us and we've still got to go through that crypt." He said, his eyes caught a glance at the hatch as it automatically closed and locked itself, at least they wouldn't have to worry about something coming out of there when they walk away. They'd need to get to an elevator and take it a floor down into the morgue to continue to where the pilot was pointing out. Perhaps things will be safer among the dead rather than among the dying.

“Fuck…” Arabella held out her hand and switched upped the light so she could see. “God damnit… And karma? As if karma only served you…” She was surprised at how much she could hear from where she was. Maybe that was why the monsters knew where everyone was. Arabella stopped to think for a moment and then she decided to quickly get out of there. If she had fallen through a hole then something must have caused it.
She finally got to a hatch and only recognized it by the floating holo-hand. Oh, the wonderful mistakes that involved that hand. A slight grin marked her features before she opened the hatch. Her abuse of power had served her well in granting her access to things not normally public. She knew how to pick what she needed…
As much as she would have liked to reminisce on her ‘accomplishments,’ she say Robin and Batgirl. “Oh, look at you.” She said to Robin as she crawled out of the vent. “Slowly learning how the world works.” Arabella got up and dusted herself off. As soon as she finished the boy wonder started to question her and then aimed again with his toy. She was quiet until she was sure that whatever it was that was in there was gone. “They rained down from the vents during our…the worship of the Marker. Most are dead or dying. Others… I think they’re still moving in the vents.”
Arabella stretched a bit in her new suit. The last time she had worn something like it was in the explosion that destroyed her eye. She thought that wearing another protective suit would bring back some sort of trauma, but good thing she was wrong. If anything, she thought that it was kind of nice. She felt a little bit more protection now. “Mhm… good fit…”
It was after her little moment of stretching that one of the Bat-family mentioned something about entering the crypts. “The crypts? You can only get into that at the top office. My husband has a spot for him reserved there… so I am sure we can enter that as a reason… or something…” Before she could say anymore, one of them went to an elevator and eventually they embarked on a journey to the said office.
It seemed rather uneventful until after they entered the office and put in all the codes. Behind the close door they had just entered through sounded a thump. Arabella didn’t even question what it was because she knew that it was another one of those things. “Oh fuck me…” She whispered and soon enough more thumps came. Then a melody of corrosive gurgles and acid-eaten steps sounded.
hurrk. Grrk…sssss….hrrk…sss

Ethan eyed the politician in the security suit as she exited. She stated that the only way to enter the crypt is from the top office. She had said something about husbands and shit but he didn't listen. He was already by the elevator, calling it. Luckily, the security on the doors was much less once inside. Perhaps they were design oversights or them simply not wanting to pay more for an identification system. Either way the group found themselves on a very quiet and awkward elevator ride. Ethan eyed the two women for a second before turning away to look at the church hall down below. That was, until it was replaced by a wall. The elevator stopped at the top floor and the group exited. The office was easy enough to find with the help of scrolling texts on the wall. They walked in and Ethan instantly started for one of the consoles until they heard something. Ethan grunted. "Oh fuck me..." He heard the politician next to him whisper. He shook his head and raised his plasma rifle. "I don't think that'll work this time." He said and waited. They had the upper hand, this time. The gurgle came and Ethan remembered the creature from the forest. "Hey pilot. Aim for the head. Politician, for the right leg." He ordered them. Before the fat fucker showed his belly, there was a thunk and crash. Ethan turned behind him with a gasp and saw the scythe fucker charge the pilot. He flung a hand before it was able to strike, a blue light flew and hit it. Soon enough it was moving slower than slow. Ethan could hear them start shooting, hopefully they were shooting the thing behind him. He started unloading rounds into the stasis'd creatures legs severing them both before the creature hit the ground then took out one of the arms. It stopped moving. Another one came down from the vent and he did the same thing with stasis and shoot. That was the last of his stasis. He wouldn't have used the rest of the stasis if the pilot wasn't still so close to it. "Get away from the fucking vent." He snapped at the pilot and sure as shit another creature came down. This one was different, it was small and white. It squealed and ran at Ethan. Ethan didn't give it a chance to pounce, he put his foot out and kicked it down then started stomping the shit out of it, smashing limbs and its head. People would be surprised what military strength and heavy ass RiG suits can do to bone and skin. Silence. Ethan turned and saw that the creatures that came from the doorway were a mess on the floor, there looked to be more than what Ethan had to take care of but someone had to cover their flank. "Right. I'll watch the door. One of you get the crypt unlocked." He said, turning around and aiming his plasma rifle again.
Whoever was tasked with fumbling around with the computers there suddenly got a RiG call. A security suit showed itself. It was to the pilot. "Hey. Riven Fuuuweens? Feeewaans? Feeewins? Sorry, your fucking name is shitty to pronounce." He said directly and could be seen placing a rather large oxygen canister on his back, attaching it to a temporary port on his RiG. The location around him seemed to be somewhere inside the chapel. "You don't have to be a bitch. You're a traitor and I don't give a shit. You want to have blows with me or you maybe you just simply want to blow me. I don't care. " His British accent was easy to catch. He was fiddling with what looked like another canister, this one was red and had a valve. "Blasted thing!" He grunted, hitting it a few times as he tried to loosen the valve a bit. "Listen, I'm practically in the same bloody boat as you so the least you can do is belt up and listen." He snapped. "I'm in a hurry. There's a gal I gotta chat up and all you need to know is that you get a chance to fire a security officer out of an airlock towards Saturn at the speed of a gunship. Okay? So if you would be a babe and hit that switch to the right..." There were a few switches on the desk in the direction he noted. She must have eventually hit one and suddenly a sad violin song started emanating from the intercom all around the church. The security officer looked at the surroundings then turned back and shook his head. "No... No. You cocked up, sweet heart. Other switch." It was flicked and some grinding sounds were heard and the security officer was looking at something next to him. "Switching you over to voice." He stated and the picture left. He grunted, clearly mounting something. "This should be fun. Alright, now hit the red button on the wall. You can look out the window if you want." The window had a beautiful view of Saturn and the chaos of the sprawl underneath. When the button was hit a figure was shot out speeding towards a ship in the distance. It was Earthgov for sure. He seemed to be carrying the red tank from before. It was weightless due to space. Any engineer would be able to tell that those were magnetic, used for pushing away large pieces of debris in space. What he would be doing with it, no one knows. He also appears to have straddled a casket and was riding it. "Cheers!" The comm. closed. He let go of the casket and engaged his suit's boosters to full, blasting off until he was a near-invisible dot in the distance.
Ethan, who was still guarding the door like a guard dog, looked back at where the girls were. "Would you two hurry up. We're exposed up here." He grunted, wanting to leave the top floor of the church, ignore the other security officer who had contacted them, and get into the crypt as soon as possible.

Riven stayed quiet for most of this whole journey upward, thoughts in her head about her situation. Being on the run, constantly looking over her shoulder, she didn't have much time to reflect, just to move on forwards. But now things were slowing becoming more quiet, she could worry about what was going to happen to her. Ethan had delivered the truth to her a little while ago, and perhaps she'd known it all along, but there wasn't time for worry, and that was that she'd really had no idea where she would go after escaping this station. There was a rumble and clatter of steel followed by a hiss of air as the elevator doors opened, Riven the first stepping off, by now she'd learned it was ideal to keep your weapon out and ready, in case of attacks, despite how bulky and unwieldy it may have been. Seemed kind of silly to put the control panel for a door three stories below up here, especially with such an amazing thing like "security clearance"...but oh well, Marker heads. Arabella set to work putting the codes in, which didn't take very long at all, of course this was just to get access to a variety of commands and programs, from unlocking doors, to turning off lights...this church was very centralized indeed, everything controlled from this little office. When the last code was entered, as if on queue, those aliens began to show up again. "Blasted..guess they're starting to show up here finally!" Always the one ready for action, the annoying soldier boy set about trying to take charge and doing things unnecessary for sake of glory. But she'd let him play hero, she had some doors too open. Taking it on herself, she began to search the command logs for crypt door, when a flash from her RiG startled her, projecting an image of a security Officer in front of her. The butchering of her last name immediately made her think it was one of Gansly's lackeys. "Oh bloody fucking--don't you assholes have more pressing issues than one lousy, conniving, albeit beautiful, infidel such as myself? What about soldier boy over there? He's just as guilty for treason as I am! Or the mess of aliens already in the process of invading and ripping your amazingly well-kept station right in half. But no, continue to hound me. Simply because I disobeyed orders and I have a cooch." "You don't have to be a bitch. You're a traitor and I don't give a shit. You want to have blows with me or you maybe you just simply want to blow me. I don't care. " "Blow you out of an airlock maybe.. " She snarked spitefully, before resuming her search for the lock release. "Listen, I'm practically in the same bloody boat as you so the least you can do is belt up." "Why should I do anything? You're interrupting my train of thought here. I really n---" "I'm in a hurry. There's a gal I gotta chat up and all you need to know is that you get a chance to fire a security officer out of an airlock towards Saturn at the speed of a gunship. Okay? So if you would be a babe and hit that switch to the right..." Riven had had enough of this guy, so if it would shut him up, she was willing to do it. She wasn't really paying attention to his directions, and she heard "Switch" with two being on the console, she would either get it right one way or the other. First one was wrong, of course, which elicited some more nonsense from him. With the other switch launching him away, Riven rolled her eyes, and went back to checking panels. "Bloody idiot wants to go on a joyride with a debris thruster, who am I to keep him..." As the selections finally narrowed down to the one she looking for, she activated it, promptly displaying a "Execute?" projection from the console. Without even thinking, Riven hit the command button, and there was a layout of the church now on the projection, with the two doors she just unlocked starting to flash. "Alright, that's it then. Come on..." The two men she'd met so far have been utter assholes, even Ethan and at the moment, she really wanted to just shoot him in the back. But that would be very unlady like..

“Oh…” Men were impatient, so it wasn’t a surprise to hear the man complaining. Arabella rolled her eye. Getting into the crypt wasn’t exactly the easiest of things. The only time Unitologists got into there was if they were dead or if they had high ranking. If she had donated more and wasn’t in her field of choice then maybe she would have had all the codes to this church, but even if she did, she didn’t believe that it would help very much.
That much was true.
Yes, but she couldn’t have herself distracted when the next course of action was on a screen right in front of her. Arabella looked up from it. They needed to get to the Crypt. She hurried after the two to the elevator. Once she stepped inside, she positioned herself near the console. While she knew that pressing the close button repeatedly wouldn’t close the elevator faster, she did it anyways.
Luckily for the group, the doors slid close before the dead could get to them. The bangs and the scrapings could be heard as the elevator descended to the Crypt. Arabella kept her tongue. She had nothing to say to the two and she worried that if she said anything more, her fears would spill out. That was one thing that she couldn’t have. She couldn’t afford being crippled by her fear of death. In this case, it would lead her to an end that she didn’t believe she deserved.

The clanking in the vents got louder, they were getting closer. Ethan grunted slightly to himself as he braced for a fight. The violin music rang out loud in the church, whoever turned it on didn't turn it off. He hoped that the creatures weren't attracted to noise or else they are going to have some massive issues. He turned for a second to look at them, they appeared to just get the crypt unlocked and began moving. When he turned back he saw the scythe arms in the vent. "Contact!" He shouted and fired a few shots in the vent to thwart the creature, it continued forth. He began moving with the two girls towards the elevator, bursting more shots into the vent before mounting the elevator. There was a crash and they could be seen moving towards the elevator. A constant click was heard until the elevator closed shut, right before one of them got to them. Ethan made a sigh of relief, the violin music was almost taunting them. He wanted to comment, to whine about them turning on the music in the first place but he felt that morale was low enough as it is. They just stood there, completely quiet with just the violin music.
As they began to approach ground floor, Ethan was ready, raising his rifle to the doors. "If there are any, just focus on getting to the crypt. I'll cover you guys." There he was briefing them again. You have to give him credit, at least he always has a plan of action. The doors slid open and there was nothing but violins. "Okay, lets go, go." He said. If the monsters got up top there is no doubt in his mind that they will be down here, too. Sure enough as they moved towards the door, now shining green, did some of the creatures start crawling out of vents. These ones were different, they didn't have legs just two arms and a tail. They were quick and just as ugly. Ethan focused on burst shots as they moved towards the door. Finally someone opened it and Ethan closed it behind him. "I'm getting tired of this." He grunted to himself before looking at the hall in front of them. The sides were lined with cryo chambers, not for the injured but for the deceased. "Why make a separate room for a morgue when you can save money with a hallway." He shook his head. This felt disrespectful but what could he do. One of the doors had a tag on it that said "Mass Driver". This was a room dedicated to firing caskets out towards Saturn as a means of "burial". The church no doubt holds that in a great honor... also a cheap way to get rid of bodies. This was likely the place that that security guard was fired out of. Wouldn't be any use to them. They just had to focus on getting through for now. They're intent on finding a shuttle and right now, so was he.

Riven was strung along without much of a hitch. She remained silent through it all, like she should, there was no need for her snarky remarks right now, after all they really just wanted to get out of this sector. The soldier was actually quite good at taking charge, thank the gods for that, and for once in their entire foray she actually followed without protest or questioning. And once they were in the crypt, they were finally allowed to take breaks. For once in her life, Riven was actually pleased to see a bunch of corpses. They knew how these aliens were, they over took the dead bodies. But they needed to do it in such an aggressive way, that with all these sealed tubes, there was no way an alien could have gotten into stab that magical alien making juice into them. At least no the bat shaped ones. With her her chance to take a breath, Riven took it, sitting on one of the benches to catch her breath. Running in such a heavy suit was quite a difficult after all. So from here was their temporary staging room, a place to plan and all. From her RiG, she brought up the station's details, surprise Tiedmann nor Gansly had banned her security clearance at all. "From here...we don't really have many choices for moving. We can't go back out into the chapel, after all. Board the shuttle, take it to the Central Transfer chamber so we can get on the right train and get out." Give my RiG a moment to upload the map.
(Super filler...we should reiterate more on our goals in this rp again. XD)

Ethan didn't feel that a rest was a good idea considering that they were followed through the door but he was tired. He figured that if something happens it'll be on the church end of the hall meaning they can just run the other way. He moved and sat on the opposite end of the bench quietly. They were silent as Riven's map slowly updated a good portion of the Sprawl. "Well I guess we need a ship then..." Ethan murmured, sounding as though he was talking to no one in particular. Despite whatever remark came from Riven he paid her no mind. The civilian spoke up mentioning a planet cracker that ported here. Ethan remembered seeing it on their approach. "Well if there are no more shuttles then we may have to take that route." That didn't rest well with the pilot, she wasn't confident she could fly it and that it would take a whole crew to operate. "The entire ship, yeah. It's a mining ship. Most of it is used for mining. If we can get the engines running then we can get the ship out of the area of the Sprawl, maybe hit the distress beacon. We'll get picked up in less than a day." Naturally the whole fugitive talk came up and Ethan quickly shot it down. "They will listen. They'll hear the story of the misunderstanding and they will have too much to deal with considering this." He waved his arms around making it clear that he was talking about the mess on the Sprawl. "It's that or you can find a nice apartment here and camp out until they come and slaughter you." Either way the issue was dropped. If they can't get a shuttle then they'll have to hope the planet cracker plan would work. It was decided that they would go to the Central Transfer Chamber first, though. There were general messages sent out by the sec stating that they were also evacuating in that area. They may be able to get through the crowds without being noticed if there were a lot of survivors. Ethan hoped so, anyways. The time for resting was over, though. Ethan stood up and put a hand out, allowing Riven to lead, she had the directions, he didn't. "I'll be close, don't worry." He tried to reassure her. "Besides, they'd likely come out behind us, not in front. I don't think these corpses will be an issue for us."

This plan seemed so full of holes, and there were just so many things that could go wrong. But given the circumstances, where they had to go, and what they had to lose, it was their best bet in escaping with their lives. After all, she didn't really have a plan herself. She'd relent under the coaxing, deciding it's either die fighting, die while waiting around, die starving, or die trying to save herself. It was surprisingly a very good motivating tool, and a second wind seemed to come to life inside the pilot, as she steeled her nerves, and took the lead without so much as a grunt. Her seeker rifle was primed and loaded with her last clip, hoping along the way they would find some ammo for it. The RiG close the map projection, but she could still see it nice and clear inside her helmet, upper left corner of her suit's HUD. The door exiting the crypt would lead them to a large, circular, centrifuge room. She wasn't exactly sure what it was for at the time, but that spinning thing in the center of the room was keeping some form of system online. Either way, she knew they would need to get back up to the higher levels, being the crypt was even below most ground floors. She l looked down one way, then the other, as if looking for something. A floating sign or a holopanel that would be easy to see. "There should be an elevator around here somewhere..." She says to the other two.
"Don't see any corpses here. That must be a good sign, right? Maybe the aliens haven't been able to access this room yet..." She ventured forward, needing to trust the other two to stick with her, as they traversed the circular platform. As predicted, the elevator was directly opposite of the door they had just entered through, clear on the other side of the circular platform. Unfortunately, the power cell that powered it was exposed, and apparently damaged, the lightning bolt indicator module flashed orange, and had the circle with the line going through it outlining it. "Fuck. Just our luck.." She would then shine her flashlight around the room. "We'll need to find another one...should we split or go as a group?"
