"Oh my god, Jay! What the hell--Oh God...Jay--"
He heard the sound of a cellphone dropping, and the sound of someone's footsteps fading away. Jay knew immediately that Jillian was on the run from something. He slowly hung up and shook his head at Jack. "Really now? Hasn't spread?! FOR GOD'S SAKE! Why the hell are we standing here, we should run? I've got to hand it to your buddy here...She's damn right!" Jay turned and ran to his car. He may have looked like a chicken, but he wanted to live. No way was he going to die like this. "Dangit Jillian...What did you do?!"

"Tch.. Coward." Jack mumbled then turned to Sola. "And YOU. After so many years you blow up in my face as if this was MY fault! Sometimes you have to think positive or everything will be negative!" He yelled then took a breath, smiled, and waved. "Fine, you can look into useless facts about what's going on. I'm going to do my job. I'm your captain, your orders are to find out how the hell to stop this. If it's a virus then there's gotta be a cure right? Isn't that what Chris, Rebecca, Jill, and Barry were saying? So find a friggen cure!" He ordered and turned from her, gun held tightly in his palms. He began walking away. 'Finally got to see the person I cared more for than my own mother and she has to be such a bitch..' He thought annoyedly in his head as he continued forward.

That most certainly a slap to the face. Her captain she thought was so much like Jack Anderson truly were two in the same. Then the feral need of a Diva like attidue arose within her. She quickly moved in front of the man and struck him hard in the cheek. Retracting her fist from his face, seething. Then came one of her more angry responses. " Listen you arrogant prick! If that was so easy to get this cure, then this epidemic wouldn't have ever happened!" her face glowing pink, the tips of her covered ear were definately red. " And I didn't blame you about this either. Everything isn't about you! And guess what life is a bitch you still have to face it. Reality check. There are people dying. These beasts or monster or whatever aren't gunna stop so I can ask them what the hell happened. It's obvious isn't it? That some serious shit has gone on. And most likely you are right mister perfect. If it is that virus that the ex STARS members mention then Umbrella did create it. I'm not some genius about virus' or anything but some things don't have a cure. Like the common cold!". She had vented. And boy did Jack ever get a piece of her mind.
She knew he was right. If there was a small possiblity, they would have to search for this 'cure'. She walked right pass him towards her car. She entered it, igniting the engine and put the car into gear. She quickly swung it around, tires squealing, rubbing burning. Dodging these freaks of nature as she drove away. Momentarily she looked down and seen she indeed had brought a walkie talkie with her. ' Amazing' came the bitter thought.

"Heh heh heh! AH HA HAH HA HA!" Jay just laughed at Jack and shook his head. "Nice job on pissing off a woman. It surprises me that you even got the job as a leader. The RPD should have picked a more older and mature person, they were wrong to pick someone like you." He smirked at Jack and then spoke up again, "Hey punk. You in hell don't know what a coward is. It's better to be a coward than it is to be a bad hero-type leader. Heck, you don't even deserve the title of a leader! This is not a game, Jack. This is your life and if you don't do shiet about it then guess what...You'll die and no one will care. So much for tryin' to be hero." He opened his door and started his car.
The last thing he did was flip his middle finger up at Jack. Jay didn't take it well that he was called a coward. He was going for a reason, so he could get back to Jillian. She had dropped her phone and that was not a good sign of anything. "I would have pulverized him if he didn't get slapped so hard by that one girl."

"I would rather die satisfied than to live with regrets." He said calmly to Jay and flung a hand at him as if to say. "Go, run, save yourself, live your life knowing others have died and you could've helped." Jack turned from the man that he would've once called a comrade, but he was just a coward to him now, someone without any reason now. A man who would rather keep himself safe shouldn't deserve to leave. "But it's ok.." He said, tilting a head and glaring at Jay over his shoulder. "Cowards always get what they deserve.." He said with a hiss as he walked to his car, got in, and drove off to give what help he could to people.

Her head was pounding, a headache was starting to form. " Next time I'll shout a little less and not be as angry" she muttered to herself. Everything in view was crumbling around her as she drove on. It's been maybe fifteen minutes since she had left Jack and that other man. No matter where you turned something was happening. She actualy got out of her vehicle a couple of times trying to help some civillians but that did a good lot of nothing. Those 'zombies' were worse then the black plague. The once beautiful city of Raccoon was decaying, all live withering down to nothingness. It pained her to see this. Yet the woman's will and pride would not betray like her emotions. She had to press on. She had to do something. Find a cure, rescue the living civillians. Anything. Sola was feeling so helpless. She drove on. She figured it'd be best to go back to the police station.
Bad idea.

"Either that man had balls of steel, or something else...because..." She huffed and puffed as she put her hands on her thighs. "Nothing happened when I kicked him..." She sighed and wiped her wet, 'sweating' hands on her sweater and noticed something extremely odd. Wasn't sweat like water and clear? Wasn't sweat not red? Her eyes widened at her hands and she almost screamed. Why would she have this liquid on her hands? She looked around the RPD, and found some tissues to wipe her hands. She had overlooked something because of her fear.
The man had been bleeding, and his shirt had the appearance of being wet. That's right, she touched his shirt when she kicked him off of her in self-defense. He had such a strong grip though and his head moved in a snake-like motion, as if he were trying to bite her. He was probably a mental, but how would that explain the blood?
"Eh... God...What the hell is happening...What if Jay was right?" Jillian paced around in the RPD and turned to walk out of the door to see the man that had pushed her down earlier. She jumped back, and quickly moved her feet far away from the closed door. "...Oh my God..."

Jack continued down the streets, he must've been in the already infected streets for he didn't see a single human. The front of his car and his window were painted crimson, it was almost difficult to see. He told them he'd save people, but that's difficult if there's no one to save. He sighed and checked his gas, he didn't have alot of it and he didn't think he had enough time to sit out and refuel it. Suddenly his car rocked. Jack looked up and a pair of claws peirced the but didn't seem to reach him. He gasped and swerved the car right and left, seeing the exposed insides of something.. Or someone. It was pink, but if it was human then the claws were unexplainable. He continued to swerve until a thunk was heard, Jack was sure it had fallen now. He took a breath a continued on then noticed the church, a few people were seen cramming in as a few zombies followed. Jack nodded and left the safety of his car to try and rescue them.

The police station had several small fires about it. Windows were smashed. How long has she been driving? How long was she gone was the better question. She glanced down and looked at the gas, she was on quarter of a tank. ' Lovely' she thought sourly. Racking her brain for an area that might have citizens alive, that was a hard thing to do. It seemed like paradise had turned into the autumn hell. She decided to drive to the local shopping mall. Maybe. Just maybe someone had survived and was hiding there.

"Um, I'm sure..." She knew full well that words wouldn't work. If you had to kick someone in the balls and see that it didn't work then it was obvious that simple words weren't going to stop the man. She was beginning to think that this man wasn't trying to do anything, but kill her. Jillian stared at the glass door and picked up a chair. Before she did anything she mouthed, "I'm so sorry...I don't mean to hurt you."
Crash
She had thrown the chair through the glass door and right into the man. It wasn't the best idea, and it wasn't very creative, but it still got her out. She jumped over the chair and ran for it. Jillian had forgotten to get something to arm herself with, but its not like she would have actually found something in there. The RPD people must of tooken everything out when they left in a rush.
Jillian didn't know where to run, but that's all she could do. 'People' were everywhere, and all she could do was dodge them, and run the streets as if the devil were chasing her. "Good bless me."

Jack took down 5 zombies braying at the church door. He tried to open it but it was blocked. "Hey! Let me in! I killed them!" He yelled and the sound of movement on the door and it flung open. Jack entered and saw 2 people and a child. They rebarred the door. The two adults were a male and female, they looked aged but only around their 40's or 50's. "A STARS member!" The woman said with a blessing tone as she held the weeping baby. "I'm here to get you out. My car's out of gas so we'll have to get out on foot.." He said with a sigh. The other two nodded, after all, they had a trained professional with them. Jack wasn't worried about ammo right now, he brought plenty, but not enough if he were to be overwhelmed, and whatever attacked his car is still out there. They all traversed the church, it was bigger than it looked. They made small talk, Jack figured out that child's name is Michael, the others had said their names but Jack stupidly forgot, he was just fascinated that the two-year-old were alive. Also, Jack had gathered that they were not his parents but his aunt and uncle who had been caring for him. It must've been an hour and they had already stopped for a rest when something shattered into a window, it was a tongue, it had grabbed the man and some crunches were heard. The woman shouted in fright. The thing jumped through, it was pink and had it's tongue exposed, ready to strike. Jack didn't take the time to notice about it's visible brain. The thing attacked the woman and Jack quickly grabbed the baby then with his good hand fired at the beast. A minute passed.. It was dead. The woman was crying aloud. "Take.. Michael... Get him out!" She cried. "Find..........................." She couldn't finish, she had died. Jack shook his head and sat while trying to calm the baby. He had completely forgot the woman but luckily he got her creeping up on him, and finished her off once and for all. He found his way out of the church into a back alley where he continued, cradling the baby. He wasn't good with kids but he wanted to save him.

"Jilian!" A familiar voice shouted and Jillian saw a car driving quickly passed her. The car screeched to a stop and she quickly hopped in. She didn't say much as she got in, but with out hesitation, Jay drove away. He put his hand on her forehead and as he drove, checking her temperature.
"Did you get hurt?" "No." "Bitten?" "No." "Any injuries?" "No." "Why are you bleeding?" "I'm not." "Are you okay?" "No..."
He didn't need to ask her that question he could already tell because she had lost her color. She was quiet and looked up at Jay. "What's happening? I'm scared." Warm tears managed to escape from her eyes and slide down her cheeks. She didn't want to understand and she didn't know about what was happening.
"Simply put...we need to get out." Jillian was going to ask why, but he immediately aswered. "You were right...When dad joined Umbrella, he wasn't just going to be making Shaving cream...I figure that this is the real stuff...not the cheezy ones on television or the theatres, Jillian. " With his right hand, he grabbed her head and gently placed her head on his shoulder. Although the position for him was uncomfortable, it made his sister calm down a bit, so he didn't mind too much.

The car finally ran out of gas. Well it would have had to after all the monster dodging and running over she had done. That thing would be ready to explode one more zombie that would have flung off her grill would be toasted, same with her. the woman decided to take some of the alley ways. They were a little more discreet and often she figured were less zombified. She darted through small alley ways, debris created alot of obstacle challenges for the young woman. Climbing, crouching, squeezing by dumpsters, trash can piled up. She was able to eventually find herself in a small secluded little place, it was enough for five or six people could comfortably move. Then came the deafening sound, the rumble of a metal can. Slowly did sola turn around to see a small cat meowing. Amazing how easily the cat managed to evade all this horror. " Smazing" she murmured.

"Jillian...since we seem to be, convieniently, the only survivors...It's obvious that we're the main characters and main characters are people who are the heroes or villains, but in this case heroes. Main characters always survive...and we're them...so we will survive, promise!" Jay said, noticing the gas meter's pointer. "I know you don't like guns, but you have to use one. You're use to shotguns and stuff, BBs, and rifles, but I don't have that...Get use to the handgun." He unclipped a spare handgun and passed it to her along with extra ammo. "We're shooting deer...except this time we're making sure they're dead..."
The car slowed to a stop and Jillian panicked. "Jay! Why'd it stop!? God, Jay, God!" He shook his head, and placed the ammo and the gun in her hands calmly. "Hey...remember quiet...and no attention...We're in the wild...surrounded...by...evil deer? Well anyways, we might die if we startle them..." Jillian sighed and looked at him with a cocked eyebrow. Even pretending like they were hunting deer wasn't going to help. Jay got out of the car and pushed Jillian out too.

The child finally stopped crying and it was like heaven for Jack. He held the boy firmly with his right hand while gripping his gun with the left. He slowly turned a corner and saw more of the things, but they seemed to be going quite slow. Jack made a sigh of relief as he started quickly at a slow jog keeping a large distance from himself and zombies. With a child in hand aiming is going to be difficult. 'Safe place... Safe place..' He thought until he shook his head. "Damn!" He murmered, his patience running out as he looked frantically for a place to rest with the kid. He wouldn't be able to take alot of the things with this kid and he knew he had already gained the attention of quite a few. He sighed and holstered his gun while taking out his radio. "Sola? You there? Ayami? Miles?" He spoke into it. "STARS report!" He shouted as he continued his jog. It was harder to jog so cautiously than to run.
