Waiting for the two was well worth it. She looked over at the clearly shaken girl. ' She's a mess, and possibly a casualty' a side sweeping turn of her gaze landed on the girl's brother. She knew how important it was to protect someone dearly important to them no matter the costs. She looked down at the holstered Handgun and her thigh and her combat knife in her boot sheath.
" You!".
Sola pointed to Jillian, she didn't really notice what the chick's name was and it wasn't the best of times to become friends.
" Can you shoot a gun?"

Seeing Jay's sister safely across Jack himself went across. It was studier than he imagined. Stupidly he overestimated its strength to gaze down at the zombies one last time. They were now on the move. "Seems they got through the barricades." Jack smirked then was about to continue when it started to shake. Human impulse made him jump to where the others were as the thing fell. "Whew..." He made a sigh of relief. The crash and many anguished moans could be heard. "Well... At least they wont get over here..?" He chuckled. The zombies were quick, they already seemed to be pouring through the door on the other building, lunging themselves back to where they started, in the alley below as they fell straight off the side. "Heh, stupid."

"You!"
"M-me?" She asked, looking around to see who she was pointing as. Sola was pointing at her and Jillian looked up, as if she had done something wrong. The way Sola had said it frightened her, but then a lot of things scared her now. It wasn't much of a surprise to her when she jumped up and stuttered, or when she almost screamed. She was a civilian, and wasn't trained to be heroic or fearless like the three people in front of her. She wished she was, but she wasn't.
"Can you shoot a gun?"
"Yes..." She remembered going out with her brother and father to hunt deer, and she would often listen to Jay's long speeches about how a gun worked and how to load it. She never seemed to listen into his speeches with interest, but she did listen to them. "...I can shoot a gun, why?" Jillian knew the answer, but she was humans, and humans almost always asked for answers to questions they already solved.

Unsnapping a button and she raised the weapon at shoulder hieght then tossed it at Jillian.
" Because you possibly can't think that your doing nothing. You have to earn your life like the rest of us. So better make sure you shoot them-"
She nodded her head over at Jay. Using him as an example for something that she would continue saying.
" He can't protect you 100 percent of the time" the mother continued. " Remember it's either you or them".
She slowly walked over to the door, and tried to turn the handle. It moved. Finally a good sign.

Fo once in a long time Jack was silent, for the most part. He listened and nodded his head in agreement with Sola's words to Jillian. While she continued her talk, Jack decided to check how much bullets left in his current clip. When he had opened it he laughed embarressingly as he threw the empty clip to the floor and inserted another. 'That would've been nasty.' He thought to himself with another chuckle. Then Sola opened the door and Jack stopped her from going inside. "Don't mean to play hero, but perhaps you should let someone without a child through first, huh?" He didn't care about any obvious objections she would make he just continued past her.

She watched as the woman took out her gun and tossed it. Jillian caught it, but due to her slight clumsiness, she almost dropped the weapon. "Because you possibly can't think that you're doing nothing. You have to earn your life like the rest of us. So better make sure you shoot them-" When Sola nodded at Jay, she looked down at the ground. "He can't protect you 100 percent of the time...Remember its either you or them."
Even though she was with them and knew they would try to watch each other's backs, she knew that everyone was alone. They were in a group, but it was truely every man for themselves. She looked at the gun in her hands, and thought for a moment. "So much for being a pacifist." Jillian muttered, turning to look up at the mother. She nodded in thanks, and waited for something to happen. "...Be careful...even the slowest hurt..." Jay said, passing her.

She smiled graciously at how he was still being heroic and a gentleman at the same time. " Same old Jack" she muttered. The woman pulled out her flashlight and motioned Jillian to come after her. The two men would cover the front and the rear. Made sense to her and in these two men's world she assumed that they'd try to protect them.
" Come on before were left behind to something possibly worse then what we seen".

Jack continued into the building when a faint sound was heard and it was growing sharper fast. "Wait wait.." He halted them then the sound was clear, it was a chopper. "Come on, it's a chopper! Lets try to get their attention!" Jack hurried them out and began jumping and yelling.
A man with bushy black hair, that flew all over the place with the wind the chopper was blowing, was proned in the chopper. The door was flung wide, he had entered it not long ago. A rifle in hand he was going to pick off some of the bigger creatures for practice, suddenly he noticed the group on the roof. "Well well.." He mumbled with a smirk. Suddenly he caught sight of the woman and her child. "That can't be!" He gasped and a comrade near him asked what was wrong. The man tapped the shoulder of the pilot and told him to get closer. Suddenly the pilot knew. "We can't take her with us!" He shouted over the roar of the blades. The man cursed under his breath. "Well I'm taking my son.." He mumbled. When he was close enough he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted as loud as he could for them to hear. "Sola!!" he called then the pilot urged the chopper a bit closer to the roof. To make sure none of the others think it was rescue, Hunk pointed his smg at them. "SOLA!! GIVE ME MICHAEL!!" He shouted and extended his arm. He wasn't that close but his intentions were obvious.

"Ok..." She said, watching Jack and Jay move in front of them. Jillian obediently followed after Sola, and it was silent for a long while, until Jack became excited and said something about a chopper. He hurried them out, and Jillian found herself, just staring at the chopper over head. She didn't expect to get saved by the chopper, or expect to get out safely, and she kept her expectations low for some reason. Maybe because when she passed her expectations, she always seemed happier. "SOLA!! GIVE ME MICHAEL!" She heard the man shout and she turned to the woman, who had given her a gun.

She hated him. But he always survived every mission he was ever sent on. It would be for Micheal's sake and not his. She slowly walked to the chopper and passed on Micheal. " If you land or something in the city you better Fucking hope he gets out with nothing in or on him!" she threatened her ex. Sola backed off from the helicopter and smiled at her son. ' At least he's getting out of here'.

Hunk's eyes were gentle. "Sola." He started at a normal tone, but loud enough for her to hear. "He's my son too.." He said, in fact this was the first time he'd seen Michael since the boy was concieved. He wanted desperately to bring Sola too but he knew what would happen. He reached behind him to a silver case and opened it. "What are you doing?" The soldier next to him asked. "Here!" He called then tossed a green vial towards her, it was a good throw and should lead to an easy catch, if not, then he wont pity her. Holding the now frantic child in his arms, gently but protectively, the chopper set off, the boy's cries for momma didn't fade until the chopper itself did.
Jack was silent. He could just sense the anxiety she felt, but also she must have been relieved, the boy is out now. Within seconds he will be safely on the outside of the city. But what was that vial? Who was that man? Jack didn't even know him, Sola never introduced. Jack just stood quietly waiting for Sola.

"..." It must of been for the best, she thought. Jillian stopped looking at the mother and looked over the edge of the roof. People were getting out of the city and her child was one of them. Love did wonders. She didn't know who the man was, but she was glad that someone would make it out. "...We should find our own way out now. Waiting here...I think will do us no good." She said, breaking up the silence. Jay patted her on the back and he looked to Jack. "Hey Captain..." Jay said, giving Jack the lead, and telling him to do something.

"He's my son too.."
" At least your finally acting like he's your son..." she whispered. Sola caught the vial of the Anti-Virus in mid-air. As the chopper faded away the computer tech had a forlone look in her eyes. She set her rifle down and her small pack that attached to her belt, she padded it and placed the vial in there. Then reholstered the sniper rifle.
While walking back to the group the asian female thought of her experiences before coming into this particular mess. The nightmares of before. And it all happened before. She was brought in to exterminate anyone who tried to steal the G-Virus by Birkin. But that was behind her now. She wanted out of this hell hole and to be with her son again.
" Let get the hell out of here"
She pulled out her other handgun and fished out her flashlight again. " We should move before the other Lickers come back to kill us"

Jack nodded and silently took the lead this time. He felt a bit better not having to look after the child now which will make progress through the city quicker. Progress? To where? "So... Any ideas about how we're going to get out?" Jack mumbled loud enough for them to hear. The zombies are probably still plunging off of the roof about now or probably have given up, either way, at least they'd still be packed up inside the other building.

" We could take the sewers but from what I know that'd be a bad idea at the moment. Or we could go to Umbrella Corp. Labs" she suggested. From what she could remember both options would eventually lead to the possible escape of the city. The new S.T.A.R.S member started to the rooftop exit. " We better leave. Like I said the licker's would be our worst enemy on the roof, especially if their clinging to the side of the building".
