This time, it was Carmen who was following like a dog behind the cart, as Natalie began to clear a path. How she managed to find mobility with that thing on the grass was a mystery to her, but she wasn't complaining. She kept the shotgun primed and ready, in case any of those zombies decided to try to approach from the flank. Eventually, they made it through the doors of Paradise Plaza, and that is when Carmen began to feel a zombie encounter was next to guarantee...it was only a matter of how long. She had to hold in a gasp, seeing the amount of them. "There...there are so many..." She said aloud, just staring at them. "Will we be able to sneak past them? If you haven't noticed...I don't like to confront these things..."

Lana followed closely behind the cart. With every step she took, she seemed to think of what could possibly happen after that step. Her mind was racing with questions, and most of them were about making the wrong move and death. She was tired and she had blocked out all the sounds that the monsters were making. The only things she could hear were her breaths and her feet hitting the ground. This was only for a short while though, for the sound of opening doors broke through. "There....there are so many..." Carmen as said, looking stunned. "Will we be able to sneak past them? If you haven't noticed...I don't like to confront these things..."
Then Lana spoke up. She didn't like the things either, for they were once people, and she always hated knowing that they all died. She was a nurse and people dying always hurt. "...They were people...I know, but they are monsters now. Not nice ones too...We will have to get through this...We'll probably have to mow our way through...Yeah, get through..." It was hard enough getting through the mall on her own, and she wondered if it was going to be easier. "...Christ...."

"yeah, you're right." Eugene said, regaining his composure. Still covered in Kevin plasma, he stood up, and tried not to slip on the slick floor. "Staying away from the windows... yeah... let's do that." he pulled out his trusty map, only to find it melt in his hands, from being soaked. "Well... I'd imagine we need to go that way, " he said, pointing west. "cause I ain't going outside. This is gonna be a long walk..."

"About how many other survivors, d'you think?" he looked around and did a quick head count. "...And others are out doing supply runs, right?" we just might have a chance! "Anyone here know anything about treating wounds? past band-aids ?"

Eddy shook his head. "Not that I know of.. But the others went out to get supplies so they may come back with some medical supplies." Eddy said as he sat himself on the floor. The old man came up and handed him a radio. "Since you're gonna go out there and do things, keep this in case something comes up." Otis said then gave one to Brad and then Brandon and finally the photo journalist. "We have alot and they're all on the correct frequency." He finished. Brad entered the camera room with the woman whose name still haven't been said and Brad seemed to report what happened.
"I can see the entrance to the werehouse.. We just have to mow right through them.. It's the only chance.." Natalie said as she stepped away from the cart, this would be too much for her. "Carmen... Could you.. Please." She asked as she examined how many zombies there were, she lost count quickly.
Alyssa's hand was shaking. "Zombies.. Are.. No big deal... But a fucking sniper!? What's wrong with people!?" She shouted as panic began taking its toll. "Fuck this, west it is!" She said and began in a remarkably fast sprint. A few ricochets could be heard as the bullets missed her totally. Within seconds she was safely at the doors into the next portion.

Carmen sighed. She had no choice, despite how much she really didn't want to. Getting into the same sprinting stance she had at the store, she pulled the cart back and took a breath. "Alright...here I go." She exploded forward with as much force as she could put, the wheel of the cart squeaking loudly. The shovels and the many other sharp gardening tools ripped the through the zombies easily, the only thing was Carmen was feeling the recoil, and it was heavy. After the first few seconds, she wasn't sure if she could push it any further. The sudden resistance from slamming into those things almost made her slip, and she lost much momentum that way. "Damn...you'd think they would train you for something like this..." She said aloud, watching the entrance of the ware house inch closer slowly.

The zombies were being smashed by the cart, and blood was spilling everywhere. They were so close to her, that she it felt like they were right next to her ears, whispering words of pain and death. A great deal of blood was on the path she walked, causing her to almost slip. She had fell forward, but regained balance when her hand flew forward and pushed her from the ground. Doing so hurt her hand, but it helped her get up faster and run after the two. Just then did she realize that even more zombies surrounded them, and if they didn't fight through, they would die. Brandon held his hand out in a friendly gesture. "Hello. I'm Brandon." "I'm Otis." "So, most everyone has a radio like that?" "Yep." "Is there a bed anywhere in here? I need a place to lay Carly." he's gotten good at maintaining his composure lately. He followed Otis' finger, pointing somewhere past a security room, and sat pondering his next words, once Eugene showed up.
((Not really much to do here until the others show up, is there?))

"Damn girl!" Eugene gaped at Alyssa, easily 100 yards down, at least, in an instant. he felt the heat of the laser following him, and decided she had the right idea. "you comin', David?" he entered half a sprinting stance and took off running." a few pings followed him, echoing as the high caliber rounds streaked past. "So, we're gonna have to dodge this psycho AND fend off zombies, all while saving every piece of ammo we have? i stand corrected, this is gonna be a VERY long walk."

"Holy shit!" Jack laughed. "Was that a cheetah or a woman!?" He asked dumbfoundedly as his father only shrugged. "The harder the kill the better the prize." He snickered. Thomas wasn't even aiming, he was still trying to work up the courage.
Unlike Lana, Natalie did slip in the blood. It was difficult to get back up but she succeeded. A zombie approached her and she looked for the nearest object which was a hand. She quickly picked it up and shoved it in her would-be attacker's mouth but it seemed satisfied now. Natalie quickly continued to follow, now having a foul stench and blood all over her.
David set off at about the same speed as Eugene and was by Alyssa at the same time. Then Eugene commented on the situation. "Tch, I only have to be faster than you two." Alyssa mumbled with a smirk, she seemed to be enjoying this. Little did she know they were already out of the sight of the snipers. She busted through the doors but was halted when she didn't see as many zombies as she thought she did. Instead a man stood in a black trenchcoat, blond slicked back hair seemed to be doing something with a body. She stood in silence as he removed what seemed to be an overgrown maggot. "Gross..." She couldn't tell but by the plastic on top of his ears he was probably wearing some kind of glasses.

Eventually, Carmen found no resistance at the end of the cart. They'd managed to bulldoze past the group of zombies, and were now in the warehouse. Looking back, the zombies were still following them. "Natalie, take this thing to the service elevator." She ordered, taking the shotgun from the bottom of it. While she would do that, Carmen would guard the doors. The first group was already in gun range, as she quickly pulled the trigger, then ejected the expelled shell. -Hurry, please...- she thought to herself, waiting for Natalie to call her to come. Another group came shuffling up. Bam! Kchkk! BAM! Kchkk! Two more shot expelled already. She was running out of the already low ammo. Three shots in the gun, two in her pocket. And still, the ravenous groups continued their assault.

They had stopped for a moment, to switch who was going to push, and she waited, turning to the zombies that followed them. "Shit..." When Natalie took the cart and ran to the elevator, Lana ran close behind her, occasionally looking back to see if anything could have gotten past Carmen. While she ran, she also noticed, that Alecs was no longer running beside her or behind her. "Damn it, baby boy.." She said, remembering her husband's words. I can't be stupid this time...I can't be like that annoying old lady...

"Tch, I only have to be faster than you two." At least it seemed like Alyssa was warming up to him, joking was a nice change. She performed a Shock-and-awe on the doors to the next area, and seemed to stop stunned. "Why you stopping? giving David a head start? 'Cause you know I could-" He took note of the man in the trench coat, and waved the third Survivor over. "Should we try to talk to him? he seems a little... off." Eugene breathed. he took a mutual silence as a prompt to go for it. "Hey! You new here?"

The man seemed to place the large slug in a capsule then sealed it. He heard everything they were saying since they got in. He placed the maggot into a compartment in a suitcase then turned to them. He was tall and he seemed to have a stern face under a pair of sunglasses. The man didn't answer for a few but he pulled out a rather large handgun and fired as half a moan came from behind the group. The, now headless, zombie hit the floor with a thud. Alyssa looked at it with a shrug then turned back to the man. "So.." His deep voice started. "Survivors. Excellent." He smirked and adjusted his glasses. "I'm sure we can make an arrangement that will benefit you both... Hm?" He didn't even bother with names or identy of sort, he seemed more intent for a random deal. Alyssa didn't decide to answer, she was more waiting for the deal.
Natalie nodded to Carmen and shot off with the cart. The cart seemed to snag alot on boxes with the all the objects extended but she got through. Soon enough she was in front of the elevator. Lana seemed to have fallen behind, maybe looking for her dog? "Come on!" She shouted to them as she quickly and frantically mashed the elevator call button.

The moment Natalie called for them over, Carmen was snagged with reloading the two remaining shells. "Alright, just hold those doors." She turned around to run off, but something grabbed her from behind on the legs. One of the zombies she'd fired at wasn't dead, and had gotten the jump on her. "Damn it! Get off!" kicking her leg wildly didn't seem to discourage it though, as it sunk it's teeth into her upper leg, luckily missing the tendant that would keep her walking. Seeing the other zombies starting to approach the door, she bludgeoned this zombies head with the butt of the shotgun, until it finally released. Leaving a small trail of blood behind her, as she entered the elevator, she waited as Lana seemed to be looking for something.
She held the bite wound, feeling the warm red liquid slip between her fingers. This was one was a real bleeder, and she was worried about bleeding out...even though that was not likely to happen, since it would probably have clotted before it all drained out. -Damn these people and their mutts...why can't anyone have a stupid cat?- she thought to herself, taking a seat in the rear corner of the elevator.

"You didn't have to wait for me..." Lana said, catching up with the two, seconds after Carmen. Her dog was no where to be found, and it did make her sad, but right now it was more important to get to safety than to look for a dog. She slammed her fist into the close button and looked out the door, watching for any of the monsters. As the elevator slowly closed, she saw one turn the corner and shuffle to them. Just seeing the beasts, caused her to hit the button more, but luckily the doors slid shut in time. Elevator music began to play, and she hummed it. As annoying as elevator music could be, she was actually glad to hear it. "....Do do do..."

"Yeah. We're alive. Now, About that deal..." Eugene was wiping some splatter from the zombie off his head. His eyes were shifty, just waiting for the man to make a move towards his gun. He just didn't seem... right. "What's with the trench coat anyways? You look like you just got here."
