"They wont get into it." Brad reassured him again. He paused at the second question and nodded. "We have people out getting supplies now, they shouldn't be long." He explained again. It wasn't long but they found themselves in front of the werehouse. Eddy was getting tired of carrying the girl but it wasn't long now until he could put her in the safe bed. "What happened.. To her.. Anyways?" Eddy strained as he entered into the werehouse. There were quite a few zombies in here, it was going to be hell.
Natalie only looked at the girl then back at Carmen but didn't say anything. When the stuff was ready Natalie sighed when she caught sight of the zombies braying on the windows. "Well...?" She murmered waiting for their actions.
Kevin agreed to the idea of getting to a safe place. David merely nodded. Alyssa gave the man an annoyed expression. "Sure tiger.. Hope ya got jackets." She said as she rolled her eyes. She didn't like this guy but at least he didn't try to retaliate for Kevin's pressured shot, which is why she refrained from anymore rude comments. She picked up a shotgun from behind her and tossed it at Eugene whether he was paying attention or not. Kevin then spoke up seeing that neither of the other two were going to introduce themselves. "I'm Kevin Ryman... These are David and Alyssa." He said and pointed them out. Kevin got the worst of the shotgun blast with a few wounds in his stomach, but nothing lung shot. "May we go now zombie wanna-be?" Alyssa asked as she resumed her original position with her hand on her hip.

"Sure, just stuff them in the cart when you find them, and get us when you are ready." Carmen simply responded. "As far as I am concerned, we have enough to last us a week." Now, having nothing else to do but wait, Carmen decided to study this weapon she had just picked up. It looked like a Remington, and held seven shells. She checked her current load. "Four." she relayed aloud. "Maybe he has some more somewhere." Approaching the body once more, she searched his pockets. Finding only five extra, she sighed. "I won't be using this much." Replacing the missing rounds, and pocketing the rest, she sat by the sealed doors, and watched the zombies, as they tried to get in. She just hoped one didn't try to punch through the glass. Right now, they were just banging lightly on it, rubbing their faces against it, and biting it. The doors seemed to hold okay against those. She tried to joke a bit. "Hey Lana...did you try counting them? I gave up already."

"No. But I'm guessing that I won't be able to use only my fingers to count, huh? Maybe I should count with my toes too..." She looked through the doors and cocked her eyebrow. Lana smiled and tapped the glass, only to suddenly jump back as hearing a loud moan. "That guy looks like Arnold Schwarzeneggar...hasta la vista, baby..." Lana took hold of the garbage poker and her wrench, and whistled for her dog, Alecs. "It'll be hard getting the cart out of one door. I say two of us push two doors open really fast, hitting some of the zombies away, and someone pushes the cart, mowing us a way through the monsters. I bet they only go for live meat...only human meat though...Alecs was never chased when we jogged through the mall."

"Nice to meet you Kevin." Eugene silently nodded to the others, and pulled out his map. "The entrance is down in Paradise, so we're gonna have to run a little bit. I wouldn't recommend going through the park either, my group had some run-ins with a sniper. Once we all regroup, We'll make our way here." he prodded at a square on the map."This leads to an elevator which takes us to the roof. From there, sanctuary is in sight. Take what you can from here, I don't plan on making this trip again in a while. We'll also head to a hardware store for weaponry, so the trip home might be a bit slow." How he wasn't strangling Alyssa right now, no on knew. "The rest of my team went to the grocery store down the road. We should meet them there." He started strapping on as many holsters as he could manage.

"Carly was under a huge group of these things." The suppressed images flowing from the vault in his mind."I-I stopped counting, I just started beating them off one-by-one. She couldn't keep up... we were following a big black guy, named Eugene. H-He said if he stayed any longer, we'd all be dead. He left. Carly was okay for a little while... sh-sh-she was fine... we ran. I-I think sh-she is suffering from blood loss... I remember watching that on Discovery..." He realized the zombie infested warehouse, and took to praying the two escorts could still use their handguns. God knows he's useless right now.

Brad put his fingers on his chin. "I remember seeing a black guy.. Was he swat?" Brad asked as he fired a round off into the skull of a zombie and it fell dead. Eddy couldn't shoot, he was supporting the girl. Instead of waiting for an answer Brad decided to do the original plan, clear a path for the other two. He succeeded and they found themselves waiting for the elevator as a few zombies were crawling from behind. They made it in and were riding up now. Brad asked the question again.
Natalie agreed to Lana's plan and moved by the door. "I think Carmen should push the cart, she's probably stronger than us." Natalie suggested but waited for the other two to get agree to the plans.
Alyssa gave a small smirk. "More? More is good.." She said quickly. Then taking into account that they were stocking as much weapons as they could she shrugged and started to fill her pockets with ammo and rounds, it made her feel fat. "So... Um... Eugene? Yeah.. You know anything about what's going on?" She asked, with a more friendly tone but it seemed fake yet practiced, besides, fake friendliness is better than none.

Carmen placed the shotgun where Steven had, and squeezed the handle of this weapon cart. "I'll do it. You two just make sure to open it wide..." She waited for Lana and Natalie have an opening big enough for this cart to ram through, as she put her left foot behind her right, in somewhat of a sprinting stance. This thing would be hard to rush with. It was quite heavy at the front. When the door were finally wide enough, Carmen, who had gotten a good thirty feet or so away to get enough momentum, began to run with it, just trying to have a good amount of speed by the time she hit that first zombie. Luckily this food was covered, or blood would get all over it. When the cart collided, she almost lost her balance, but continued anyway. By now, all the zombies were after her, so the entrance to the store was being cleared slowly. "Damn it!" She shouted. Right now, she could have gotten away if she had ditched the cart...but they needed it, so she'd need to think of a way to escape with it. Then she remembered. -Shotgun, stupid!- Pulling it from the bottom of the cart, she waited for a good amount of zombies to be in a small area, before pulling the trigger. A good number of them were blown away, and even gave her an exit. Taking up this chance quickly, she shouted to the other ladies. "Come on! Hurry up!"

With the wrench and the garbage pokers in her hands, she walked to the door, with Alecs following closely. "One, Two, Three!" She shouted and with all her might she pushed the door open. The door had managed to push some of the zombies out of the way and she held the door open. Carmen rushed passed her and hit the first zombie. Blood had splattered everywhere, but Lana was thankful that none had gotten onto her. Remembering the movies, she swung her monkey wrench like a sword, making sure to hit as much as she good to follow after Carmen. "Go!" She shouted to Natalie, defending the slowly closing doors.
'Who'd be stupid enough to lead things like that to a supply point? I was and I'm not letting them in...
The doors finally closed and she sprinted after Carmen. "Let's keep moving! More of them are probably inside the Mall already!" Then she thought of entrance plaza. If there was a way, then she would probably try to close those doors, but it was too risky and probably impossible. Lana found herself ducking and dodging the monsters. TV was helping her a lot right now. Thanks to the TV she knew how to possibly kill a zombie and all she had to do was test it.

"S.W.A.T.? No... He had the right geddup though. Big guy, A tank with legs? Yeah... that's him." Brandon took a few seconds to look back down the stairs. they learned fast, and climbed stairs at at a rivaling speed. "I swear to God, if I ever see him again, I'll- I'll- I.." He shook his hands in front of him in a strangling motion. the elevator stopped and he stepped out.

"Do I know anything? I know one thing, and one thing only. These guys don't have feelings for us, so I apply the same." he loaded a bullet into the chamber of a IMI Desert Eagle, and stuffed it into his belt. "Save the big guns for later. load up light and follow me." The bruise from the sniper round was manifesting itself by now... and it was coming on full force. "They should be more than done by now. Nothing could possibly go wrong in a grocery store..."

Brad held up his hand. "Calm down, if you see him don't do anything. Whether he left you or not, we can't pass up the fact that we shouldn't be at war with each other." Both Eddy and Brad went up a small ledge, Eddy held out the girl to Brad and Brad carefully took over, easilly supporting her compared to Eddy. "Ugh. How are we going to get her through the vents?" Eddy asked and Brad put his fingers on his chin in indecision.
Natalie positioned herself by the door and waited until Lana gave out the call. When the order was raised Natalie was quick to fling open the door, the door colliding with a zombie who flew back. The blood spray from when Carmen charged forth was intense but none of it had gotten on Natalie. She quickly used her force to charge her way through the small group, though most of the zombies were already disoriented by the cart so it was easilly past. Soon enough Natalie was close behind Carmen.
Alyssa let out a little chuckle. "That's what they say about small towns too." She said and let out her hand as if to say "look what's happened". She seemed much calmer than she did a few minutes ago. She then nodded and held out her hand to shake a bit more formally. "Alyssa Ashcroft, journalist" The first thoughts to someone would be bi-polar. "I'm sure you want to know what's going on as much as I, perhaps you'll be a gentleman and tell me if you find out something huh?" She smirked and gave him a wink then began to leave the shack. "Well, we should get to the others then." Even David had his eyebrow raised, in the couple hours of knowing her she wasn't so 'friendly'. Then again, reporters are supposed to be friendly if they want to get what they want.

At this point, having a one track mind would be a good thing. Her mind was focused on the big sign of the Crislip's hardware store, not to go into it of course, just a target to run to. Oblivious to any screaming or sounds around her, she didn't notice Natalie had been behind her, and made a quick change of target when the doors to leisure park into view. The ladies collided into each other with a grunt, and Carmen lost her balance. "Damn it! Sorry, are you okay?" Looking to see how far behind the zombies were, she was surprised to see they had managed to keep pace. "They are more agile than I expected..." She stared out into leisure park. There was no other way to get back to the paradise plaza through there...and this cart would find it difficult to move around on the grass, so they'd need to talk the long route by using the walk paths.
Grabbing the shotgun from the bottom of the cart, she waited for a good amount of them to be in a small area again. While this was happening, turned to Natalie. "Grab hold of the cart, and get ready to run..." When she turned her head back, the trigger was pulled immediately, several bodies falling to the ground. Not wasting anytime, she ran to the the handicap glass doors. These ones would hold themselves open for a few seconds before actually closing, giving enough room for the cart to move through, and wouldn't hassle sine they wouldn't need to hold the doors open. "Quickly! Go through!"

"Yeah, yeah, i know." Brandon breathed passively. "The vents? I haven't thought of that. could we slide her through? On, like, a board or something?" not much but soccer balls out here... "Push 'er through? I dunno what it's like in there."
((really though, my imagination's busted.)) -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Eugene looked up at the the newly friendly Alyssa. "Yeah," he chuckled, "I guess you're right." Looking around, he noticed something peculiar. nothing. "Carmen? Natalie?" nothing but a bunch of dead zombies, and a draft. "Damn it... they left without us... We need to get the hardware store, and we're out of room." He looked around, momentarily enjoying a mass of dead bodies surrounding the store's front doors. "We're just going to have to run through leisure Park. Think you two could keep up?" he hoped yes... he didn't need a repeat of last time he was escorting.

Eddy sighed. "Damnit, I'll have to drag her." He said and Brad nodded. "I'll go in first and I'll warn you when we get to the slide." He said then turned to the other man. "You will go in after us, if you want to protect her make sure Eddy has her." Brad got in then Eddy got in, sliding slowly as he leveraged Carly in after him. He then managed himself to sliding in slowly but safely with the girl in his grip.
Natalie quickly pushed on the heavy cart as it wheeled obediently through the doors. As if the few in North Plaza were bad, just wait until Carmen got a load of Paradice Plaza. "They're spreading so quickly.." Natalie stressed as she stared annoyedly at the groups of zombies. "We'll have to wheel straight through them and get to the other side.."
"I'm sure they're fine, just a grocery store right?" Alyssa scoffed as she looked through the window. "Right, They're spread out thin, this'll be a peice'o'cake." She said confidently. Kevin looked at his injuries but he could do it. David didn't seem to care about the run either. "Let's go then." Kevin said impatiently as he pushed past Alyssa and opened the door. He took a couple of steps out when a shot rang out. Alyssa gasped and fell to the ground, blood covering her face, the deceased cop inches from her. Alyssa crawled back away from the doors. "What the fuck!?" She gasped again, a direct shot straight in the middle of his forehead, this was no amatuer, nor an accident.

Lana followed after the woman, and saw all the monsters. "...Damn they're getting through entrance plaza..." She coughed behind the hankerchief she had tied on earlier and closed her eyes. I never had to deal with this much people. I never had to see this much dead...and never had a person die in front of me. They've always healed and got better...I never got this close to death. I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything, baby... She slowly opened her eyes and swung the wrench. "I guess we're cutting a path forward huh...It would really be great, if we cut through it quickly....No one likes conflict this much."

"SHIT!" Eugene took hold Alyssa and David and leapt backwards. Eyes wide, his now crimson body was too tense to move. He looked at the two, and slowly turned to what used to be his acquaintance. He didn't feel like moving. He felt safe behind the wall... Had it ever been this bad? I haven't had to deal with shit like in a long time... Not since I was growing up, in some L.A. slums... They probably have an eye on every window in the Goddamn place... it won't be safe to move anywhere, but we gotta make it back..." He panted. "Carmen..." Grief onset within an instant. "She and Natalie went out these doors.."
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Brandon ducked under the lip, and took a second to let his eyes adjust to the darkness. He couldn't see too much other than Carly's tennis-shoe'd feet, which followed intently. No sounds other than the metallic echoes of their footfalls, and the occasional grunt issued by Eddy. no moaning, which meant no zombies. A very good sign. "How long until you think they'll figure this out? I mean, it can't be too hard." he swiped at a bug that followed him through the door, Making no contact with anything but the wall.

Brad couldn't hear the question for he was already far ahead. Eddy didn't answer because he was concentrating on not hurting the girl in the shaft. After a bit longer they were all at the entrance to the security room. Brad was already out and assisted with getting Carly out then Eddy left and turned to Brandon remembering the question. "The zombies have little to no attention and so far what I've seen they barely know how to climb up ledges so I doubt they'll be able to use the elevator even if they could they would still have to go up the ledge and crawl their way through here and hope to live from the survivors inside." Eddy explained. This was the perfect safe zone in such an incident.
"Let's go!" Natalie urged as she began her charge. It was simple to cut through the zombies, hopefully the others would take into consideration of the path Natalie was setting out with the cart.
"I doubt that." Alyssa said as she regained her composure. "They shot quick.. And they're not hunting zombies.. Your friend's bodies would be right by Kevin's." She took out a small hankerchief out of her pocket and began to wipe the blood from her face. David spoke up. "We should go around.. Stay away from the windows." Alyssa nodded in agreement, anything that would distance her from their crosshairs.
