Faith pushed the door open quickly, causing it to slam. "Bou, what is the meaning of this?!" Were the first things that came out of her mouth. "You told her everything about Clandestine, and let her be captured! Do you know what could happen? She'll tell people! She'll tell people of what Clandestine really is! The peace shall be shattered and the world we control will cease to exist! How could this happen?!"
She turned her back to him and gave a heavy sigh. She went over to one of the seats in his office and lowered herself down. "The government...has been keeping Clandestine in perfect order, and now it will be ruined...Jeoff Bou...I can't allow this. I might have to have you killed or reconditioned...and same goes for your daughter. I let you choose and you chose the wrong option and let important information leak. I'm very disappointed."

Jeoff laughed. "You'll never be able to run the research without me." He then laughed again. "Killed? Reconditioned? You underestimate me. It seems you're more naive then you seem." He laughed again, this time more maniacally. "I spent my life working to meet the council's expectations, even had to deal with my own wife." He shook his head. "Now.. You expect me to give my daughter? And expect to just hand myself over as well? You underestimate me Faith. Heh.. Faith... what a nice name... People put their faith in you and you decieve them." Jeoff stood up from his seat and rubbed his scrubby chin. "I see it now.. We deserve to lose.. We deserve to die. We've killed people, and here I thought I would be able to prevent such things as war and crime." He sighed. "Killing me is impossible. Reconditioning me with my own technology.. That's as useful as three year old crap."

"Research without you? I have plenty of people ready to take your spot, Jeoff. There are always people ready to replace people. Your time was nearing to an end anyways...I had already arranged things in case something like this had happened." She listened to him and his laughs and just sat there patiently. Faith didn't look like she was in such a rush, and she seemed more calm.
"...My mother...was such a fascinating woman, who gave me the name, knowing that I would become an Official. My father was just the same...The Hills...from the start was very close to the government and that could never be changed, right?" She folded her hands and crossed her legs. Faith gave him one of her famous smiles.
Faith stared at him in silence. Dealing with people like him was fun, and she enjoyed it a lot. "Perhaps we deserve to lose and die. Yes, we've killed people, so? People are afraid to commit crimes. People are afraid to publicly insult a person. No one can cause a war. No one...wants to disappear, including you. People fear being forgotten, dying, never being seen again. They are afraid of disappeared and because of that...most don't do violence."
She leaned back in her chair and gave an even heavy sigh. "Jeoff. People don't have to worry about being jumped on the street. Long ago, everything that could cause war was stopped and now the city is peaceful, so you thought right. You were able to help prevent wars and crimes. But because...of our not so minor problem...order will be broken."
"You are only a man, Bou. No, not a man. Bou, bugs will be crushed and humans will live forever. Your own technology, maybe, but I doubt that you have an immunity to it. Jeoff, you are not God, and therefore will be struck down. I'll make sure of it and I'll make sure that your daughter suffers more than what you'll be getting!"

Jeoff smiled. "Sadistic and yet beautiful... However.. I'm sadistic and brilliant." He said pulling out the vile. "I have created something beyond you. Miss Hill." He then looked at her with a grin. "If I cannot prevent the downfall of my family... Then I will bring about the downfall of everyone's.." He took the cap off of the needle, but then he put the cap back on. "Do you like viruses Miss Hill? Perhaps you weren't informed on the... other... Expiramentation the council ordered.. Not even you were told... Heheheh."

"Sadistic and beautiful, thanks. And I have to admit...you are just as brilliant as you are sadistic, bastard." She muttered as he pulled out the strange vial and grinned. "You'll kill millions of people...to save your own family. But no one will escape this city...so in the end, you're only making sure that everyone goes to Hell. I don't care if I wasn't informed by your bullshit, but I know that once it is released no one is getting out. The moment something happens...There will be an emergency lock down and everyone will be trapped."
Faith smiled and stared into his eyes. "Either way...your family is doomed and...people will die. Jeoff Bou...you have truly found ways to end violence and keep world peace. You are so creative. Even I would never think to kill everyone to keep peace...but of course...your making peace by not being very peaceful. Heh heh. You are a true bastard."

Jeoff laughed. "I have my ways don't I?" He said sarcastically. "But that's the phrase that drives me. My family is doomed either way, so why should I care what happens to wenches like you? These people signed their fate when they believed us. They marked their death warrant the day they drove to our side! We trapped these peoples like rats in cages... But eventually.. Something goes terribly wrong in that cage." He smiled again. "Be thankful.. You get the satisfaction of dying quickly."

"I feel sad for your child, Matthew. He seemed like such a nice boy...He never knew that you were a monster like me, did he? I'll admit that I am a monster...but I have a question. You'll have the satisfaction of my death...but what happens to the rest of the people who are innocent?" Faith paused and looked down at the floor. "You want everyone to die for your satisfaction? You are going too far...and I have told you... I wouldn't even think of killing everyone. Have you gone mad?!"
"Like a child...If you can't have what you want...you won't let anyone else have what they want." She coughed and continued. "Ever remember playing with action figures as a little boy? Remember how your friends, assuming that you had any, would have their little robot or whatever attack your toy? And the pair of you would duke it out? Continually making up move after move before one of you would become frustrated and smack the other person in the eye with your toy? To me...it seems like this. You want to win so badly...So bad...that you will make it hell for everyone else."
There was another pause and and she coughed again. "Even if they escaped...nothing would happen. The outside world...is just as bad...as the future of this city if you release that virus. There is no where to go out there...and I know...humanity is doomed if that happens."

Jeoff smirked. "In the end one child would win though" He said as he continiously withdrew the cap and replaced it. "You said it yourself, either way my family is doomed. After I'm dead you use Kathy for your evil bidding, then what of Matt? That's right, he'd have no one. You'd probably feel sorry for the boy and recondition him and give him to the orphanage. Your lies wont work with me any longer. This city deserves to die. No one is innocent, they're all ignorant."
He began tossing the vile as if it were some toy. "Let me tell you something about this virus.. Upon getting transferred to it's first host the virus moves two ways. One way leads to the brain, to where all your major senses are located and damages your nerves. The other half goes to your lungs where it is expelled and quickly caught by others. However, there is at least a 76% chance of infection..." He then held it and gazed at it as if it were his child.
"When your vital sensory has failed, which is the ability to feel, things wont kill you as easily. However, it'll then move throughout your brain and slowly fry it from within. When that happens you experience the mood swing from hell. Soon enough, you'll find yourself trying to kill people." He took a deep breath. "I'll tell you what.. I'll give you a five minute head start to get out of the building. From there, you can try what you were originally meant to do, and save people. For if you truely value their life then now is your chance to show it. Also, I assure you, this was meant to be a last minute thing.. So... I haven't made an anti-virus."
He then stabbed himself with the liquid and allowed it pour in. He then looked at her and smiled. "Don't worry, it usually takes about a day for someone to fully lose their mind.. Oh Faith... Why couldn't you be more understanding?" He said then went behind his desk and pulled out his gun. "I always have loved the classics." He said peering at the beautiful barrel. Each breath he expelled was the virus leaking rapidly through the air. It was now inevitable.
(If you have second thoughts tell me now.)

This seemed so... twisted. So tragic. Reality was but a fleeting dream, once a Paradise, but now it seemd their dream turned into their own prison. The boy moved from the couch and check the door. Interesting it was unlocked. Lynn quickly grabbed his bag, and slowly opened the door checking for anyone in sight. No one. This was becoming stranger and stranger by the minute. He shut the door behind him slowly. Then walked down the cold corridor. This seemed like one of those ancient, creepy horror movie's they seen in history class. He shifted the weight of the bag onto his other shoulder. It was this eerie feeling, that something would be coming. It was to quiet. To serene. Especially for a government building.

"Heh, knowing that I'll die...I guess I have nothing to lose. I'll meet you in hell, Dr. Jeoff Bou. See on the flip side, love." Faith stood up and took a few steps closer to Jeoff. "You hit me in my eye...and I'll smack you in your eye. It's only right for me to properly retaliate, you god damned bastard. I may be a monster, but I'm far from losing my sanity." From under her jacket, she pulled out a handgun, and pushed it into his forehead. Her whole arm locked in place and she was ready to shoot. Her intent was to kill him and she wasn't going to back down.
"In case of such an emergency...the alarm has been set...and I've already started the alarm...and my guards heard our conversation...Your children will know of what happened..." Everything was going to crumble and she knew it. She wasn't going to tell him anymore about what was happening outside the silo. Faith continued to glare at him, but she stood there quietly. No one else deserved his little virus, but she was relieved to know, that she cared.
-----
Sirens began to flood through the city and the Guard came out from the Mists. They were ordering people to evacuate to the city gates, so they could get out of what could become a hell hole. People were panicking because this situation was never thought of. No one ever dreamed of a mass evacuation in the city. The city seemed to perfect for that, and now all order was crumbling.
"Move people! Move, Move, Move! There is a deadly virus, and we have to make it out of this city! I assure you...you will be safe! Move it along! We don't have anytime...We must go!"

Jeoff smiled. "So young. If you want to die now it's fine, however, there's a 24% chance that you're not infected. You should be helping people right now." He smiled again. He quickly grabbed the side of her hand as the gun was now pointing over his head. "I have work that still needs to be finished Miss Hill, killing me now isn't the right time, rather you'll get your satisfaction later." He said and let go of her as he began walking, the revolver firmly in his grip.
Kathy walked around the town some more looking for someone she might know. Suddenly she saw what seemed to be Lynn's friend. She tried to remember his name then finally came to the conclusion. "Lucas!" She shouted as she began running towards him.

The blond boy turned around. No it couldn't be. How could she of all people beat the odds of coming out of the Mists? He had nothing against her, but it seemed a little unlikely. The Adonis rushed over to her. " How-how did you... I mean. Why aren't you gone like everyone else?" the boy asked his class mate. ----------------------------------------------------- Lynn continued to wonder about. Checking the rooms as he went by. Then came the sirens. Their wailing call signalling something malicious. This was the first time he could remember that they had ever been used. The sterile, cold voice of a woman spoke. " Evacuation has begun. All citizens of Cladenstine please exit the building in an orderly fashion. All citizens are to be exit the city walls".

"No one will forgive your malicious act. You have already lost your mind..." Faith raised her gun at him as he turned his back. She no longer hand anything to lose, and everything wouldn't matter soon. She had accomplished everything she wanted to, and done everything on her list. She wouldn't mind dying, for she had fufilled everything on her list. Even if she was in a corrupted government, she had told Lynn that she was at his and everyone's service. "I'll take care of this bastard once and for all..." She muttered.
"Faith...your mom and I are very busy people..." A man in his late twenties said to a little girl, patting her head. "I understand. Father Brendon will take care of me, and I don't care too much if I don't have parents...After all, I'll be around children who don't have parents either...So I think I'll be able to manage, daddy." Young Faith had said to her father. "You two are busy...and I know you don't have time to raise a child. Don't worry, it's perfectly fine. I'm a big girl and I can take care of myself."
"Is that so, Miss Hill? You want to become the best?" The priest had asked, smiling at her. "Yes Father...I want to show God and my parents that...I am good. I don't have much to do in live. I just want to become the best and get somewhere. Maybe...I can help keep the peace in Clandestine and get rid of the Mists! Someday...I'll be apprieciated and I'll protect people! I guess those are my dreams...I don't have too much, becuase...it's hard enough to just fufill one."
Without thinking, she aimed and fired at Jeoff, hoping to hit her mark. Four more gun shots followed the first quickly and she reloaded her gun. "...I hate this and today too." She closed her eyes and hoped that she had hit him and killed him. "I hope you die...I really, really hope you are going to die."

"The Mists are all lies! There is a world beyond this town! They've been keeping it secret!" She said to Lucas then the blasts of the sirens made her jump. Before Lucas can panick or do whatever it is that he does when he's scared she quickly asked. "Have you seen Lynn!?"
All four bullets hit but due to the direct infusion from the virus it had already taken the effect of his sense of feeling and he didn't feel a single one though he knew he was going to die from them. He quickly ran down the stairs and shot all 5 scientists in a rapid motion leaving only one more in the chamber. He quickly ran to the generator and put it up to full then broke the handle. Soon enough the Mist was being generated everywhere. Jeoff laughed and coughed. He knew that Faith would be following and he turned, if she was behind her he would raise his gun and fire at her.

That caught him a little of guard. " No I haven't seen him, you mean he's alive?" with his spirirts lifted the boy gained his confedince back. " No but lets go look for him. Where do you think he might be?" asking another question to her. --------- The boy walked further along, and still no signs of life. This was getting far to creepy. " Hello?" he called out, the only answer he got back was his own echo. "Hello?". It was going on forever. Lynn finally found an exit, taking it the boy walked into a training facility, the ones they talked about in their text books. " This is unreal" murmured the child.
