"Many years ago...Earth suffered greatly. So much that human civilization was forced to flee away from our beloved home, Earth. Our ancestors made a city and named it Clandestine! The city grew and grew. To protect ourselves, we made a barrier, to prevent our people to get out, known as a mist. We planted fear in their hearts, telling them that if they went passed the mist, they would die and surely, people disappeared. It worked...and no one would ever be able to suspect that they were living a fake artificial world under one false sky. No one at all..."
"The sky is truly the limit isn't it, brother? That is why...all technology that will take one to the sky or to space has been banned. All sea exploration technology has also been banned. The only thing allowed...shall be the subway, cars, and travel on foot. The subway...it only travels around our city...in a circle almost. I doubt one will notice...and if one does...Their lives are in our hands."
"Correct. The people of Clandestine are living freely...but the government...The government rules over all. We can control everything. The weather is easy...it is as if...we are God. We control nature, lives, everything!"
There was a silence in the meeting room and the man finally sat down. He fixed his tie and made sure his glasses were in place. All were looking down at him, with disappointed looks, even his so called sister. The room was silent once more. In fact, it was so silent that you could hear the nervous heart beat of the man who had called the government God.
"Camero..." The sister began, "Dispose of him. Clandestine government...has no need for power hungry officials. He might be one...to do something stupid and expose Clandestine as our fake Earth. If we are to remain in power and keep peace, we must never have our secret revealed. This has always been a secret...and we shall keep it at that. We are to eliminate all chaos and keep it at peace...After all, we do not want to destroy our perfect home...right, brother? We do not want it to end up like last time."
Camero walked into the room and walked passed the man's sister. The security guard cuffed the man and they walked through a white door marked 'reconditioning'. In complete silence, she listened carefully for a sign. Her brother's scream was heard and an evil smirk spread across her face. "All we can do is wait...men."
Silver cuffs held the man down at his ankles and arms as he sat in a cold metal chair. Machines hummed around him, hovering in space. Finally, after he was strapped down a black mask was gently placed over his eyes and Camero began the process of 'reconditioning'. The man watched as the the security guard sat down in a chair, surrounded by touch computers, glowing brightly with needed information. The guard didn't seem to hesitate to start up the machine and quickly flipped a switch to start up the contraption. Like any computer, the machine gave out a soft hum as it began to boot up, and its screens began to blink. After a few minutes of starting up, the screens became steady with his color memories, and the soft hum from earlier was even softer.
"What an interesting life." The official had heard the guard say and for a split second, he had hoped that he wouldn't get his life ripped away. But that was only for a split second, for the guard finished with, "It's a shame we'll have to erase it."
The guard had pressed a button, starting the memory wipe. When the memories were deleted, the memories on the main screen were replaced by nothingness, and the computer gave out more beeps, telling that the action was successful. The ex-official gave out an agonizing scream, and squirmed in his seat. He began to slam his head against the metal chair, and it was heard from the other room.
His sister laughed as she marked his name in a small memo pad. "Apparently...our new technology works." The woman put away the pad and folded her hands. She looked up at them with a dangerous stare and grinned. "We made the world ours...and kept it pure. All who oppose shall be murdered, or be put through reconditioning. No one will get in our way. Like my brother had said! NO ONE!"
--------------------------------
This is post-apocalyptic and takes place in the city of Clandestine. The city is futuristic type and has almost everything... After the intro post...I think you will be able to find out what is allowed and what is not....and what is the plot. A city and a government who hides the truth.
You are allowed to be anything you want, as long as it is human, and the RP part is only to introduce this RP and not meant to really be apart of the Roleplay that will unfold. No Cyborgs or Aliens... But if you are Robot...it is fine.
My real character(s) will be revealed later after someone posts...Now...I shall mourn the loss of my fingers...
Um...that is all for now.

" Your a fucking disgrace!" he yelled. The elder beat the young teenage boy in-front of him. It started from one beating to more. He was bruised every day he lived with that wretched man. His cries echoed the apartment they lived in. And soon the threat came.
" It's too bad that whore isn't around to see that she birthed a faggot for a son! You'd be worth more dead then alive. How would you like to end your pathetic life? Hmm, come on tell me. I'm make it come true." And the beatings increased.
The boy, went to school, then went to his minimum paying job then back to 'home'. He cried every night.
Amazingly the man he still called father only beat him in specific areas. It started near his ribs, then slower developed to his entire mid section, never on the arms or his legs. His father knew, if no one would see them nothing would horrible would come from his daily routine.
Then the physical abuse halted to a stop. It transformed itself into a deep psychological problem. He would verbally attack him; more and more threats came.
" What kind of fucking name is Lynn? No wonder you turned out to be fucking queer. You must truly be idiotic if you think someone will accept what you are". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
" I am a freak. I- I should just let him kill me" he whispered softly. The teenager walked alone to school. The same path every day, nothing changed in the last year when the bruises had ended. ' Maybe suicide would be better. Then I can have the satisfaction that monster didn't do this to me. But he's smart, he'll probably play the fucking sympathy card. Who would notice if someone went missing? I wouldn't be terribly missed. I have what? Three people I call friends. And they have plenty more. More important people in their lives then me' he thought bitterly.
" Lynn wait up!" the masculine voice came from behind him. The boy turned around to see who had called him. There was Lucas. The fair skinned, blond haired Adonis. His friend stood at 6'3, he weighed maybe 195 lbs. He was in perfect physical shape. The younger boy, himself was much shorter. Standing close to 5'7;weighing roughly 140 pounds. Lynn was darker then his frosty skinned friend, he guessed maybe a golden complexion.
He worked out all the time. And he kept offering his friend to come with him and Lynn would always have some excuse not to accompany him. Usually he'd say " I'm not feeling well" or " I have homework due tomorrow. We can't call be geniuses you know". Thats what happened every time.
He waited for him. " Whats up?" he asked. Morning after morning the same conversation. They'd both be tired, etc. The two friend walked on in silence after the automatic, dull answers.
" We'll be late you know" spoke the smaller teen.
" I know" replied the blond hair friend, " But sometimes you just have to take what you get".

"I need a blueprint completed by the end of the month or he'll give the job to Portman? Portman is an imbecile!" A man's voice called into her phone. He had the accent of an English man, giving some idea of where his parents before him might have came from before this city was formed. Quickly, the man gathered a pen and a piece of paper. "What does this building require then?" The other on the phone began to relay information, and the man copied. "Ar--are you serious?! He expects me to design something with all these in under fourteen days? The land limit doesn't seem like it can hold all this...uh-huh...right, but...yes, but...I understand." With a sigh, he put the receiver down and stared at his notes, then the mirror. He ran his hand through his thick brown hair. It wasn't very long, so the stands snapped back almost instantly after the palm past. His eyes were dark, and his face showed he was middle age, slight wrinkles beginning to form and such. His facial hair he had cut this morning, but already was starting to grow back. Just then, he heard the door open. His was wife was home.
"Gordon?" The woman called from the door. he replied, and she set the paper bag of food she had brought in onto the front table. "I brought some groceries home...could you bring them in?" He complied, and the architect left for the car. The woman herself appeared to be of eastern origin; brown eyes staring out through slants, skin tinted a slightly yellow, and black hair that reached down to her upper back. She too held a paying career of a hygienist, but despite the money the couple made together, they chose to live in their small home.
"Lian!" the Englishman called from outside. "I seem to have forgotten to give myself your keys...could you scuttle over here and give them to me?" She knew he was only trying to lure her into a kiss, the first thing she always did when she got home. "I don't know, Gordie..." She began to play around as well. "The garage is pretty far away...might hurt myself going over there." In response, Gordon groaned. "Ugh, alright, Li. Gonna be a stale biscuit, eh?" He ran in from the garage, and easily whisked the lightweight woman from her feet. "Hehee, how many times do you think I can bench you? You're so light." "Oh shut up!" Lian interjected, and pushed her mouth into his. "Now can you get the groceries?"
(Yay! After failed attempts, I finally got soemthing I liked!!)

"Dad won't be picking you up today." A 15 year old, girl said as she moved to her knees to stare her 8 year old brother in the face. "So, I will be there to pick you up from hockey practice." She smiled as her dyed black hair covered one eye. She had black lipstick and black eyeliner on. She wore black and alot of chains though that was the hip thing for her, it was a lie to her real bright and happy personality. "Ok, Kat." The light brown haired boy smiled as he kept his bright blue backpack's straps gripped in his fists.
The teenage girl's name was Kathy Bou. She's a wannabe goth who recently got into it because her friends put her through pressure. Her father doesn't approve of it but again she was convinced to disobey. Like all girls her age they were likely to have a crush. She definately had one but was too afraid to say so. Her grades are above average but nothing special.
Her brother is Matthew Bou. He is quite the troublemaker for his age and like his sister falls under peer pressure easily and finds himself doing dares brought up by other kids which would eventually lead him to alot of parent-teacher conferences (Which usually ends up being Kathy attending it.) and many detentions. The boy wasn't stupid just very lazy when it came to homework thus his grades were quite dissappointing.
Their father, Jeoffrey Bou, spends most his time working. Jeoff was one of the researchers in the city who helped designed alot of the technology. Since he had such an important job certain disadvantages came with it, like paying attention to his family. He loved them but he got worked so much that he literally falls asleep at home giving no time to spend with his two children anyways. His wife, Marina Bou, had died in a car crash two years ago leaving the 38 year old, work-stricken man to support his children as well as his job which the pay was obviously plentiful.
The two siblings hugged and gave each other a smile as Kat kissed her bro on the cheek as he wiped it off with a sneer. Kat chuckled and said goodbye she then put some earbuds in her ears listening to some annoying heavy metal band, then left for another horrible day of high school. Matt turned and went the opposite direction going for the buses which would lead him to the elementary.
(I'm pretty sure Kathy would be going to the same school as Lynn. So yeah. Yay crappy post of the day. ^.^)

Two people sat in a room quietly. One was a young woman and the other person was an old man. His hair was gray and his eyes were filled with obvious knowledge. The man was sitting in his chair with his back slightly hunch and a cane in his hands. He was dressed in a suit, as gray as his own hair. The old man stared at the young woman for a long time and she stared back with her sparkling oceanic blue eyes.
"You're going to graduate soon. Are you going to college, or get a lower-class job after graduation? Your grades are the top of your classes, and you've passed in many perfect tests! Surely you will get a high-leveled job. Maybe an architect, or a scientist perhaps."
"Maybe I won't take any of those jobs and I know I will not take a lower-class job, but I can assure you, that I will move from this orphanage. I could have moved a long time ago, but I enjoy being with you, and having you as a friend. I assure you...that you will live forever!" She laughed, and walked over to sit on the table in front of him. The young woman crossed her legs and put his hands in her lap, holding them gently with her own. "You will live forever, father. I promise that you will live forever..."
As she finished, the large windows beside them shattered, causing the woman to stand up, and shield herself from the falling glass. "Father Brendon!" Before she knew what was happening, a blindfold was put around her eyes, and a strong arm was around her neck and the other was holding her handcuffed hands.
"Father Brendon! Let me go! Let me go! AH! Let me go!!!" Suddenly, she was dropped and fell to the ground, with her hands released and Father Brendon no longer in sight. She pulled the blind fold off and looked at the room. The room seemed the same and the shattered window had been fixed and the glass had been cleaned. Everything was normal again, but she was the only one left in the room. "What the hell...What the hell happened?"
She turned around and looked at the table seeing her school books neatly stacked. "Those weren't there earlier..." She walked over to the books and picked up the first one, opening it to find a small piece of paper. She picked it up and read it. "Nothing ever happened..." The woman said in fear. This was something that would be kept a secret.
-------
Six months later from the incident, the woman had switched high schools and decided to graduate at the top of the schools. All schools in Clandestine were public schools, and they taught the same things. There really wasn't a ranking system in Clandestine, and she didn't really care, for this high school was far enough from the orphanage. She had gone to this school for many other reasons, but right now, being away from the orphanage was her top reason.
She walked to school in short, gray skirt and in a short sleeved, white blouse, that had been carefully ironed. Her eyes were the same sparkling oceanic blue, and her hair was long and brown. She wore long Gray socks and had black shoes on. The senior didn't have time to buy any other clothes, so she wore her old school uniform from before. If all went well she could probably get some new stuff later, but this was the best she could do right now.
"Hi, I'm Faith Hill...and here are all the forms needed...and---Oh?" Faith was then bombarded by questions. "5'6, I'm a female, I'm eighteen...Eh? Of course I'm eighteen! Do I look any older...? I do?! Hmm...Do you need a birth certificate? I-I have one..." Before she could take out the piece of paper from her book bag, her class schedule was shoved into her hands.
"Thank you for coming to this school...Please hurry along to class..."
Faith nodded and walked to her first class. "Clandestine is the replaced name of Earth...but of some mysterious case...a mist came and killed all those who went to it. We can't get out from our safe zone..." A small smile appeared on her face and as she read more of the book, it became harder to stifle her laugh. "Because the cause of mist is unknown...we are pushed to ban many thing, such as flying, for pollution might be the cause of this strange phenomone...Any type of pollution is dangerous, especially sea and air pollution and therefore is not allowed." Faith sat down in a seat and smiled. "May all men live forever...Heh heh heh...."
"What are you teaching these kids today? You're teaching them bullshit, you know, teacher?" She said as a teacher entered the room. "What are you doing here? You aren't supposed to be in school, and certainly not highschool. Did you lie again?" Faith turned to the teacher and winked at him. "Lies? I've been lying my whole life! Besides...it's been a while since I got to be the almost perfect straight A student. Perhaps the top in all. Being the youngest of all...and looking the youngest...enables me to do fun stuff. Hehe! I'll enjoy your company!"
"He'll never stand up for this!"
"Who will never stand up for what? I doubt that you mean who you are thinking...He's gone. I'm free to do whatever I want to do and can support myself. You shouldn't be so uneasy around me...After all, I am only a student under you, teacher. Bugs get eliminated and men live forever."

After having put in the all the groceries, Gordon retreated to his study to begin work immediatly. A set of shade pencils (stengths a -6), a straight edge, and much paper. "An installation desinged to house something...and it needs to be this big? Psh. With all these things, it'll be half out into the mist. Measuring, marking, erasing...many times over and over. After the first hour and a half, the British architect was far past frustrated. His wife knocked on the door and after getting clearence, came in. Her husband was a wreck, do to the constant venting. The top part of his shirt was undone, his tie slung over his shoulder. "Gordon! What's wrong?" "This new assignment. They want me to design something impossible. I'll have nothing to show them when I check in today, and that idiot Dean Portman will get the job." "Is there anything I can do to help?" "No, Lian...maybe my old geometry teacher at the high school can give me some tips." He went for his coat, and slipped it on. Lian came up from behind and kissed his cheek. "Okay, honey...please, don't kill yourself over this though. You've designed many buildings in this town, Portman making this one isn't worth a funeral." "I'll try to remember that." He replied with a smile. "See you in a bit." He went into his car started up the engine, and pulled out.

Kathy finally reached the school and her best friend Jamie came to see her. Jamie had dark skin and a cocky expression. "What's up girl?" She asked and Kat smiled. "Nothing." She replied then noticed the kid named Lynn. She hid her face and Jamie only chuckled. Kathy had no idea.
Matt smiled as he was confronted by his friends when he reached the school. They all bantered on about a cool video game this kid Jeremy played. Other than that the kids didn't seem to be doing anything interesting.
Flipping through some documents, Jeoff finally noticed the name and number. "Gordon.." He mumbled as he dialed in the number. 'So this is the man that is building the foundation to my new defense system.' He thought as the phone began to ring. He then waited for someone to answer.

After watching her husband depart, she rushed to answer the phone. (excuse me while I take brief control of the situation.) "This is the Mapford residence...No, Gordon just left. Umm...he went to visit an old friend. May I ask who is calling? Uhh...who? Never mind, I'll just give you his satellite phone(fancy for cellular!!!) number." She relayed the numbers to the man, and put the receiver down. "I wish someone would call for me once...but then again...no one likes the dental hygienist..." She chuckled at her little joke, and called for something. "Sir Tophamhat!" An almost groan sounding meow replied. A plump Siamese cat came into the kitchen. "There you are...guess it's just you and me a for a while....sometimes I wish Gordon was unemployed..."

"What happened to him?"
"Nothing ever happened, teacher. He went on a vacation for a while, and I'm actually quite surprised that you're teaching at this school. Not that there is any problem, it's just...I thought you would be teaching at the last school...Why here? Is it your daughter? Your wife? Who? Or even what?" Faith spoke with a calm and serious tone, making sure that as she spoke, her questions would be clear. She crossed her legs and folded her hands on the desk. "Well teacher? I don't suppose that the questions will answer themselves, but if they did...wouldn't it be a sight to watch?"
"Why are you asking, Hill?"
"Nothing...Nothing has ever happened to them, right?" A slight smirk came across her face, and the teacher grabbed her by the collar. He began to shake her, and she still just smirked at him.
"What have you done to them?! What did you do?! What did you do!?" The teacher shouted at her, and finally her smirk turned into a frown. He kept on shaking her, and finally he dropped her in her seat. The teacher looked at her in shock and she stared back with cold eyes. Faith's eyes were as calm as unsettled water, but they were as cold as frozen water. She stood up and fixed her collar and smoothed out the creases on her shirt with a long sigh. The student and the teacher stood there in silence, as the student fixed herself, and then she looked up.
"I didn't do anything. If anything did happen, it would have been your fault...I enjoyed my visit, teacher. Don't worry... I won't tell of what you did to me. I should get to my locker soon, and be careful." Her last two words hit the teacher the most, and she left the room with a smile. Her head hurt a little from being shaken so violently, but she was alright, and since she was still alive, she was happy.
Faith walked through the halls while rubbing the back of her neck and holding her books. People stared at her because of her attire, but she didn't care too much. People would probably already have some kind of dirt against her, but she didn't care much about that either. Her goal in school was to graduate, and that was all, so if she didn't make any friends, it was alright.
She walked passed two teenage girls and took a glance at them. One of them seemed to be dressed in all black and she wondered why, but she didn't really feel like asking, so she walked passed them normally. Most likely, people would know about her being a new kid, and like any other school, it would either turn out bad or good. "Either way...I don't care..." She thought out loud, passing them.
"Which is the first class up?" Faith looked up at the massive front of the high school in awe. It really did look like one of the best high schools, and the outside was just as nice as the inside. "Amazing...I can't wait to finish my high school years here! Only a while...until graduation..." Faith held her books close to her in a hug and smiled at the school she would graduate from. This place would be better than the last and she knew. This school was going to be fun.

Both boys sat down at their seats, waiting for their first lesson to begin. The pair took ancient languages together to at least have one class with one another. The taller boy Lucas was a year older then Lynn; the brunnette was only fifteen years old. It was very interesting that they both took a university equivalent course, and which wouldn't mean much unless they would translate ancient texts. Sure people still retained accents from the years of yore but they all spoke the same language. " I heard there's two new girls in this course. Betcha one is a little hottie" the blond whispered to the brunette.
Another quirk Lucas had. He always tried to set him up with some girl that he knew or thought was smart enough to carry on a conversation with. Inwardly the youth groaned at the thought but smiled none the less. " I bet you they're both dumb" he countered.

"Ancient languages. Interesting. When was the last time I actually took something like this?" She looked at her watch and slightly laughed. Her little meeting with one of her teachers had taken longer than she had first anticipated. Without hesitation, Faith jammed her books into her book bag and entered the school once more, but this time, she slowed down her pace and paid close attention to her surroundings and tired to remember details. She would need to remember this for the future.
After a few minutes of wandering through the halls, she finally took out her school map, and looked for the fastest path to the room. "I shouldn't be too far. I have enough time...and it would be good to..." Faith pulled out a camera from her back pack and held it in her hand. The camera was smaller than her palm, but very useful. She pointed it around the place and snapped a few pictures. "Great visuals...I can put them in my photo album...and maybe...when I find him...tell Father Brendon."
She gave out a heavy sigh and walked to the classroom. Faith opened the door quietly and tried to sneak her way in, but even as she did so, eyes were put on her. "Oh..." This wasn't anything new either. "I should get to my seat..." She mumbled, walking over to an empty desk far away from others. Once she sat down, she pulled out her books and picked up the Clandestine history book.
To her, the book was some kind of joke. The history was real, but it had been twisted enough to plant fear in all people. She could read it over and over again and laugh. But it was so real to the people in Clandestine. People believed in it and because of the lies, Clandestine was in peace. There were no wars and law enforcers were never needed. People here wouldn't commit a crime, and if they did, they would disappear. "And that's how it works."

Gordon hastily picked up his phone. "Yes, what is it, I am very busy right now." He said quite rudely. He already pulled into the parking lot of the high school. "Could you hold for a minute actually." He entered the front office, and flashed a card to the ladies up front. "Important business, cannot be obstructed." Was all he said as he walked past the doors without a care. A kid just coming back form relieving himself still needed his map to find his way around. Gordon quickly snatched it from him. "Shoolroy...Shoolroy. Ah! Here we go...surprised he still works here." After entering the science hall, he returned to his satellite phone. "Okay, speak now."

Jeoff couldn't help but to laugh as the man set him aside. When he finally got the chance to speak he spoke calmly. "Yes, hello Mr. Mapford. This is Dr. Bou, perhaps you have herad of me, after all I design most the things that make you useful." He said with a small chuckle before continuing. "I would like to know what you have so far on the ZXRL248, commonly called the foginator. I need that building to be perfectly made, now sir, I want to know what you've come up with so far. For you see, I have plans but first I must hear your explanation."
Jamie had already left for her first class. Kathy had recently signed up for a new class since she came on bad terms with her last elective teacher which was journalism. She was just lazy, not like she meant to. She sighed and finally decided to go to class. She was late of course, walking in 5 minutes after the bell already rang. She could hear people whispering of her strange "satanist" look but she didn't care. She sat in the back, a lone grey eye peering at the classroom until it caught Lynn. She turned her head again and smiled mentally.

The first girl who came in really caught the elder teen's eye. He sized her up from head to toe, giving her an appreciative smile. " I think I'm in love" he sighed.
" Your in love with someone else every day" murmured Lynn.
" What can I say? I just have so much love to give" he retorted. Then came in the next girl. He gave her a once over, kinda shrugged his shoulders. " Not too bad, kinda pretty if your into the whole goth movement".
No Lucas never gave up. " Come on class has alread begun, lets just do our work for once and not leave it for homework" he pleaded lowly to his friend. The blond boy yeilded to his friend's request. They both worked for a bit, once in a while wrote on a piece of paper and slid it to another. Their teacher never minded so much, just as long as they did their work.
