"Damnit!" She shouted, chasing after him. "Lead all civilians to the gates! He's done it and the Mists is spreading!" She ordered into her phone before running down the steps. Faith ran into the chamber and aimed her gun at him again. "What are you doing?" She knew exactly what he was doing, and she really didn't need to ask him, but the question still managed to get out. "You have really lost your sanity...I should have pulled my weapon out earlier...before you spread this virus."
Forgive me.

"I don't know... Maybe we should try where everyone is gather...ing..." She said slowly as she noticed the Mist began to spread everywhere. "Lucas... I think we'll have to hurry.." She said looking around. 'Just what the hell is going on?' She thought to herself. She brushed the hair that covered half her face behind her ear showing her face fully. She then gasped. "Matt! I can't live knowing my little brother may be in this!" She looked to Lucas and looked around. "Go to where the gaurds are meeting and try to find Lynn, I'll meet you there, I have to find my brother!" She said and started running until she was finally out of sight.
Jeoff laughed. "You just don't understand. You're just so naive." He said, the gun pointed straight at her. Then he smiled and lowered the gun. "I'll see you in Hell... Unless you manage to survive... You would probably kill them but do me a favor, this is from the sane me, the me I let go years ago since I entered that damn school." He said and he tossed her a necklace. "Give that to Kathy."

"Evacuation?" Lian said to herself aloud. "No, we can't report in, the guards wil recognize us..." "Then we'll just have t do right now. Instead of breeding a virus, we'll just directly sabotage the system." The englishman explained. "According to that girl, this mist can't hurt us. Looks like the government is just trying to scare the cititzens even further." "Let's hurry then." The two of them ran for their car, their entire plan already in mind. They'd run through every roadblock in their way, it's not like they haven't committed a serious crime already. The small car sped out of that parkway, directed at the silo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They were only three guards at that installation, it seemed most went to tend to the evacuation. Gordon easily ran all three of them over, since they were all standing one spot. The pair saw this as a perfect chance to disguise themselves. Quickly they swapped clothes with the guards, and hid the bodies in the foliage. "Okay..." Gordon used the guards keycard to gain access to the silo. "Come, come." They made their way to the upstairs computers, where they could access the mainframe from. "Without a virus, we're going to need to by pass all the security networks...I'm not sure how we're going to do that." Lian pushed him aside. "Luckily, you married one of the best hackers in this city. It's amazing what some people can learn in high school, no?" "Uhh...umm.." "Just watch the door..."

Lucas ran to the main area where he knew the guards might be at, City hall. He rushed over there praying to some Divine Power to make sure his friend Lynn would still be alive and safe. ' Come on just another block and a half' he thought. He kept running and running. Keeping a steady pace so he wouldn't be all out of breath. -------------------------------------- Lynn walked around still in a slight daze. " Shouldn't there be the creepy guards here" he mused. -------------------------------------- Maybe half an hour later the blond boy came upon the grand structure of City Hall. Panting heavily, slowly walked up the steps, entering the building. At first notice, he keenly observed that no one was there. " Lynn!" he shouted, " Lynn!". The name echoed the building. ' Please be alive still' he thought.

Luckily she had a "nap" earlier so she still had a good amount of energy. She finally reached her home and checked all through it, she got lucky she could see the street signs to get there, no one was home. She smacked her head and left the house. "Kat!?" "Kat!?" Two voices came out and Kathy turned to see both Jamie and Matt. Appearantly Jamie was the one who was asked to watch Matt and she did. Kathy ran up and hugged her brother. It seems she was able to see him again. When they were finished Jamie also gave her a friendly hug. "Girl! you ok? I heard you fell into the Mist, I was so worried!" She said and Kathy shook her head. "It's fine, but we have to hurry to where they're gathering for the evacuation." She said and they both nodded. Kathy lifted Matt and they both quickly ran for the spot where they would hopefully meet up with both Lucas and Lynn.

"Maybe I don't understand, so? I don't have an old man's mind and I am not a lunatic, so I definitely will not understand you. Of course, I'll see you in hell. God looks down on people like you and me..." Faith stopped as he talked about her killing the two. "I said they would have it just as worst, Bou. Kathy will be forced into this somehow...and if Matthew is worth anything...I'll keep him alive. I gain nothing from killing them, but I feel as if I'll gain something from your death."
Jeoff then asked her for a favor and she laughed. "Sure, old friend. I'll do the favor for you." She pulled the trigger five times after she finished her last sentence. Faith had aimed for his chest and with each shot, her bullets moved closer to his head. She bent over and picked up the necklace from the floor and looked at it. "Jeoff...how can you call yourself sane?"
"You were so quick to recondition your own brother. Your parents would look down on it. They weren't like you." A man dressed in a white suit said. He entered her office and closed the door behind him silently. "He's not my brother. As I have said at that meeting, we have no need for power hungry and stupid officials in our group and what parents? I've never had any, and if I did...then I'm exactly what they were. After all...I do the job of an Official."
There was silence in the room and the man finally spoke up. "You are as calm and as smart as your father was...and you are as deadly as your mother. Brilliant and Sadistic. Those two things...might make you successful in ways..."
"I know...I say that's a good combination, for the type of job I'm in...and I'm assuming that I'm not as forgiving as my so called parent were. You old farts seem to always talk about how you think that my actions aren't thought through enough. It's simple. If a person rapes another person, they deserved to be killed, no?"
Faith pocketed the necklace and walked out of the door, reloading her gun once more. "Who knew I would use this much?" She needed to get the guards and tell them of new orders, and she could have sworn two of them ran passed the door when she was in the room. Faith walked up the stairs and slowly opened the computer room's doors. "Hello? Peterson? Angelos? Gareth? I have new orders, and I think the Mists would have messed up my phone...and radio frequencies..."
The door was now opened and she found herself faced to face with two people she didn't know, and one of them held a gun at her(assuming Gordon has one). They were wearing two of the Guards uniforms and she guessed that the two must of done something to her men. "...What did you do to them?" There was just a nice little surprise around every corner for her.

Lian had only linked the computer to the laptop she was going to use to by pass all the security networks, when Faith discovered them. This was a major setback. This disguise would have worked for the rest of the staff...but they didn't expect to meet the one who knew every guard in this city. Gordon quickly slammed the door in the woman's face, hopefully before she could fire the gun. "Chair!" He urged his wife, and she kicked the one she was sitting upon over to him. He fit the chair under the doorknob like the old fashioned barricade. This was good, ut they needed to stall longer. Gordon leaned against the metal door(I'm assuming, since government installations would probably have a steel door over a wood one...I reference from hollywood...) and began to speak to her. "It's over for all of you now." he began. "But I'm sure you were going to end everything else though. Before these people die however, they'll know the truth. In a few minutes, the "mists', the remainder of the barrier, and all you've said to be true will be deleted." "Okay...network one breached." Lian relayed to her husband. "How many left?" "Alot..."

She hadn't intended on doing them any harm, but still the door got slammed in the face, causing her to fall back wards. Faith touched her forehead and shook here head with another heavy sigh. These people were going to further endanger Clandestine even more. This day was the crappiest day in her life next to the day her parents left. She stood up and began to bang on the steel door, but then a man's voice began to speak.
"It's over for all of you now," he began, "but I'm sure you were going to end everything else though. Before these people die however, they'll know the truth. In a few minutes, the "mists', the remainder of the barrier, and all you've said to be true will be deleted."
"Over? Are you insane? I'm trying to get people out of here, before it spreads. You can take out the Mists, but don't take out the barrier!" Faith banged on the door once more, before taking a seat against it. "You want the truth? Fine! I'll give it to you! Earth used to be filled all over with people, but as the human population grew, the pollution levels raised with it. Because of this, Minor quarrels broke out and they fought. People were only human and the fights turned into a war about things completely unrelated to the problem at hand. Earth ended up destroying itself, and because of all the convenient weapons and the pollution...Earth became a barren wasteland, but out ancestors built this place!"
There was a pause again and she coughed. Faith never liked raising her voice at someone, even if it was needed."The barrier protects us from the deadly environment outside of Clandestine. The Guard has already started to transport people to one of the many facilities outside the barrier...The facility is also protected by a barrier against what was once Earth...and they are being transported by special trucks that were designed by the government long ago. Please don't take down the barrier. There are still many people in the city trying to escape and I don't want them to die. Once the barrier goes down... more contaminated air will leak into the city..and that will only make it harder for us."
"Fine take out the mists, take out the sky, take down everything, but I ask that you do not take down the barrier. Knowing the truth is inevitable, but we can sure dodge the chance of us going extinct. I won't force you to leave, but it would be best if you did...There is still a chance that you aren't infected..." Faith finished and looked to the ground. If Jeoff was still alive, then she would be ready to shoot him again, and if he wasn't, then all she could do was wait.

"We should abort, Lian..." Gordon began to reason. The woman only shook her head. "No...we've caused far too many crimes, we've come much too far. I'm not going to get leave this console until this entire city is shut down." For several minutes, all that could be heard from that room was the clicking and clacking of keys being typed, and the decoder by passing security networks. It had finally come to the last one. The computer aware of their intentions, what they wanted to be shut down displayed, the computer flashed a click icon reading "execute?" The couple could have stared at that icon for what seemed hours, but it was only a couple minutes. Their lack of trust for the corrupt government was what urged them to continue, but they couldn't erase the warning from the official from their minds. "I-I can't do it..." Lian said, her finger hovering over the mouse button. "Then we'll abort the program." But, while Lian was moving away from the computer, she stumbled over one of the deceased scientists bodies, and knocked a nearby plant over that was hanging above the console. The two watched as the solid plant pot hit the mouse, and activated the mainframe shutdown.

The computer flashed the red warning sign and the sirens outside the towers sounded a new warning, telling people of the city's shutdown and to evacuate. The Mist was beginning to lift and the sky began to shatter, revealing a red barrier, steadily cracking. There were screams of help and the screams of crazy people, but they were too hard to tell apart. There was one explosion and she guessed that it was one of the government trucks. Faith could only imagine the chaos going on outside.
"Rioters...Rioters!" In a quick moment, she slipped open her phone and screamed orders into it. "I want them all killed! Kill all of the Rioters! Simple order! Annihilate them with one shot to their goddamned heads! Use force! Silence them!" She ended the call before the Guard could say anything and turned back to the door.
"We don't have a law anymore, or a real government as of now. Now, we don't have a city either...I'll admit that the city you lived in was fake, but it was the city that gave everyone life...and you destroyed it. It's almost like the stories with terrorists in them...Destroying a city may be a criminal act." Faith smirked after she finished her little speech with them, and slid a keycard through a scanner next to the door. The green light turned red and she locked the door. It would hold them in there for a short time, but it would take away time from their escape out of the city.
She walked away from the door and when she reached the stairs, she ran down them. She walked to her car and tried to turn it on. "It's spread through this already...bummer. I'll have to run and find one of those ancient trucks." Faith took off her jacket slipped her gun into her belt, knowing that she would probably encounter more trouble.

"This is most unfortunate..." Lian began, watching the monitor flash. "But if she is running, instead of making the best of what little time everyone has, she obviously knows about something we don't. Perhaps a haven of sorts." A gunshot went off, then another and then a third. Gordon had shot the hinges off the doors, and easily pushed it down. "Come, with these get-ups, we'll be able to get out easily." Fake name tags replaced the real ones, just in case other guards were close to the ones they eliminated. They exited the building, watching soldiers mobilize. A small troop of maybe four approached them. "You two better get your head gear on quick!" The one who seemed to be the leader began. "You got the order, right?" "We were right next to her." Lian said with a slight smile. "Good." He returned. "Come with us, we need to suppress this riot." "Yes, sir. But we need to check our equipment first." "Make it quick." The moment the troop turned around, gunshots rang out. All four were killed with shots to the head, having not three seconds to react. Luckily, no other soldiers were around, and any civilians who may have been in the area probably ran to get away.
The couple quickly seized their firearms and a comm. link. Perhaps the big mouthed teenager would help them get a fix on her location.
But as of now, they figured it would be best to get as much information as possible. Let's see if we can find out where the evacuation areas are...maybe we can find that girl over there." They'd need assumed names though, for Faith might recognize them and throw back out in the open.
Lian took a breath, and studied the rank insignia on the soldier's shoulder, the initial and last name tag on the breast pocket, and the division this guy belonged to. If they were lucky, anyone who remained alive from this division would not speak up. "Here goes..." And she began her transmission. "This is Sergeant Jin Kulinsky, Second Battalion, Detachment Delta. I failed to upload the coordinates of the evac. points, and am requesting them again. Please comply." She released the button and awaited a response. The sound signaling the transmission rung, and they held their breath, fearing some kind of identification code. But their fears were soon remedied, as it began. "Roger that, Sarge. Uploading the coordinates to everyone in your detachment. Try not to let this happen again."
The couple smiled at each other, and studied the evac points. "Well...at least they're all in one small area."

The young boy continued to look around but nothing stood out to him as being an exit point. ' Guess I'll have to continue just going about' he thought. Then he heard the sound of stomping feet, so he quickly ducked into one of the open door rooms and closed it behind him quickly. " Toto I don't think were in Kansas anymore" he murmured. This placed seemed like a huge weapon shack.... from his hsitory books? " This isn't right"

As the three made their way to the gathering point to evacuate the sudden sound of gunshots slowed the three. They looked at each other then shook their head. As if things couldn't be worse the fog began to clear and what greeted them made their eyes open wide. A large barrier around the city, cracking. 'Was I wrong? Could I have just gotten lucky?' Kathy thought to herself then looked to the others. "We have to find the others as quick as possible." She said then began running towards the gathering point despite the gunfire. 'Maybe that's what's holding the fog in.. Then that means Lian and Gordon must've already gotten in.' She thought again, now feeling confident.

"Damn, the oxygen levels are dropping..." She muttered passing a TV that turned off after she looked at it. The sound of guns firing was getting louder and soon she found the source at the city central. She approached one of the soldiers and rested her arm on his sholder. " I almost forgot... Find two people posing as soldiers...a woman and a male...Don't kill them, but atleast capture them...And give me some of your handgun bullets I'm going to need some..." The man looked at her strangely and gave her some before nodding at her orders. "Be careful, Faith. I don't want you to die...Promise me that." Faith was about to walk away, but she stopped. "Bad guys always die in movies, right?...Use your squad..." With that she left.

Quickly they scrambled into their car, and headed for the evac locations. The comm. channels were filled with dialog, but it seemed they hadn't figured out their assumed names yet, so they were in good shape. "I can't believe we're pulling this off.." Gordon said, and laughed in disbelief, not moving his eyes from the road however. The headlights quickly flooded three figures standing in the middle of the road with brightness, and he slammed the brakes down. "Wait...is that...the girl?"
