"Naive wench." Townes responded as he shot another Yuke soldier. 'It seems none of her spies have gotten information on the Mammoths, she may not know of the homing missles that sit at the back.' He thought and smirked as he shot at another soldier, but missed. "Men! get ready to put suppressing fire!" Townes yelled. A suppression fire is extremely useful, but it's a large waste of bullets, but it just may buy the Mammoths the time they need.

"Take pleasure in killing my men." Kanon simply replied. She ended the transmission fully, and looked over to her officers. "Assault tanks, huh? Who knew the Halteese could produce those. What vehicles have we brought on our little raid." The officer answered. "Battlemasters medium tanks...Scorion light tanks, Rocket buggies, and Airborne tanks, and Tornado fighter bombers. They plan on deploying a few of our assault tanks, the Foxbats." Foxbats were twin turret tank, that had a lser defense system, which would deactivate missiles fired at it. But it took a while to recahrge, so a constant volley would disable it. "Any info on THEIR assault tank." "Only that it too is a twin turret tank..." "Alright. Send the Tornados to make another pass. Seems they wanna supress our advance. Don't let it happen." the Tornados made a second pass, and dropped their load once more, and then they turned around to fly back. But missile flew after the one in tail end, hitting it in the engine. The plane flew into the ground, the pilot never ejected. One of the soldiers cheered. "The Mammoths are here sir!!"

"Yes!" Townes cheered happily and took out his radio. "Mammoths do you read? I want the one to the right to seek out their rocket buggies and destroy them. The other needs to take out their planes with the homing missiles. If the tank takes collateral damage then withdraw, do not leave the tank. Repairs are less than by a whole new tank." He commanded then awaited their comply.

"Sir! It seems as though we've got ourselves a serf who's got some info on the rebellion!" "WHAT REBELLION!" "The townsfolk are inciting a rebellion against us...we found this one scheming with the others down in city hall..." "Dammit! Now I've got to deal with this,too!" Yes, the small army was deployed but twelve hours ago. "Gather them up, 'persuade' them to join our army, we need more recruits, and if they don't humbly accept our offer, shoot them on the spot..."
Everything was going into action. His problems are solved, a few of His platoons are off raiding a small country to the north, mostly for a population He could force into His army, and He was about to launch the greatest offensive in recent history. "life is grand..." He muttered, as he watched over the massing forces, "All too grand..."

A small camp of soldiers has spotted the massing Ustian forces, and the camp leader seemed more than happy. He requested that a soldier take him, with news that might persuade the General. After much coaxing and bribery, the soldiers finally permitted him, and the camp leader was taken to the Ustian General. He looked at him and, started. "General. My name is Colonel Anthony Vinnman. I'm from the Yuktobanian 59th armored cavalry division. Our leaders are adding chemicals and such to our weapons. Those bastards are going to kill us all. My camp over-looks this place, all of us defectors from the Yuktobanian and Halteese armies. Allow us to join you. We've many men and vehicles, even the prized Foxbat and Mammoth." He awaited the reply.

Ah! my raiders are back with a massive captive line behind them. How the country of Maletta is generous... the pieces are falling in place, and by sundown, my army will be on the march... commander in chief Lawrence K. Foulke

"Sir! We lost a Mammoth tank!" A soldier yelled and Townes looked up in confusion. "Destroyed!?" The messenger shook his head. "Not it just dis-" The man could not finish his sentence when a bullet flung past and the cevlar hit the ground as blood splattered. "Urgh.. We cant let them advance! Keep firing!" Yelled Townes as the troops continued their desperate defensive against the Yukes.

(Well, as being one of the few rps not archived I think I shall revive this one before it dies. I'll try posting in the other few that are alive and not archived...and don't worry. Nicky has a plan for those ships.)
"These desperate pushes will not hold forever, Captain." A second transmission from the Yuke general came. "Soon your assault tanks will be overwhelmed. And have you forgotten my navy anchored behind me? This will teach you to start wars with us."
"Ready the artillery!" A Halteese commander announced. "We're going to get rid of those buggies." This little team had been positioned on an over over-looking hill not long ago, but only went into action now, due to orders from a general. Six or so cannons positioned themselves to fire. "Stand ready...do not fire until ALL the buggies have."
Yuktobanian infantry moved into captured trenches and bunkers, slowly pushing the Halteese back.
"Hold on babies, we're coming to your rescue." The artillery commander commented.

"Left! Left! left!" the three men ordered in unison. The first was in the front, the second the middle, and the third the back. "this is crazy..." a militia man mumbled as he looked around the harsh, barren, deserted wasteland that he and so many others were marching through. "NO TALKING!" a whip whistled through the air. "They resemble Nazi Germany's army." He said as he walked alongside his troops. He examined the ranks. First were the colorblind, then the defectors, and the other troops. beyond that were the light artillery such as the Dagger II's and the Scorpions. after that was the ECM tanks, followed by heavier weaponry, such as the Battlemasters, mortar tanks, and a couple missile tanks. and bringing up the rear were the Foxbats and mammoths.. we didn't have many at all, but this will do. A number of rocket buggies flew past. He himself was in a flat adobe-colored uniform, with high polished medals covering the left side of his chest. His translucent hair was slicked back, and mostly under his wide-brimmed hat. He wore small, round, black-tinted glasses. Another whip was raised high into the air as he spoke into a transmitter.

He was hiding behind a shipping crate as he watched the night guard walk past. he checked to see if they were alone, and walked behind him, tactical knife in hand. He raised up, and grabbed the guard, one hand around the neck, tight enough to prevent screaming, and the other pressing the tip of the knife into his back, just enough to pierce the skin. "Where's the captain?" "I don't know! are you gonna kill me!?" "Only if you say the word 'monkey', now, answer my question." "Huh!?" He pressed the knife deeper. "On the fourth deck, near the stern!" "I want to be your friend, I do, but I need one more answer before that. Could you tell me about the security?" "You can't go anywhere past this first deck without a badge!" "You've been a good help." "Are you gonna kill me!?" "Are you gonna say 'monkey'?" "No!" "then you're safe" He knocked the guard out, and took his outfit. Luckily, they don't use photo I.D.'s for going deck-to-deck... "Thank you, feel free to go through Mr. Mason." "Thank you." He walked in through the double doors, and greeted the Yuke Captain. " My shift Cap'n." He said. "Fine, fine." He turned around just as the spy reached for the piano wire.

Townes picked up the communicator and replied to the Yuke commander. "Don't underestimate us, b****!" He yelled and slowly began to withdraw. He knew they wouldn't be able to hold them off for long, especially with those rocket buggies.

The buggies deilvered yet another payload, aimed mostly at bunkers, but a few rockets strayed for trenches. Then it happened. Despite the gunfire and explosions, a Yuke soldier managed to hear what sounded like a stomach growl. "You hear something?" He asked his companion. No sooner than a moment after he asked, whistling then explosions went off behind them. More than half of the rocket buggies currently firing were wiped-out, the rest retreating, knowing the Halteese were after them. As Yuke soldiers looked around frantically for what could have cause it, the artillery commander radioed Townes. "Sir, we have the high ground on the cliffs right above the battle. We'll be sure to make use of it."
Meanwhile, the Yuke General had a quirked expression on her face, as she spoke to the Captain again. "Nicely played. But that's just a mere inconvience. I'll be forced to use my Navy now..." End transmission. "Boris! I want the navy flagship on the radio! I need to speak with the captain."

Townes quickly replied to the artillary commander. "They're sending in their fleet, dont draw too much attention to yourselves. My radio link is low, contact the naval commander and have him send out the subs!" Towned ordered. The Halteese stopped their retreat and decided to hold one spot while gaining support from the artillery, they didn't want the Yukes to get too close to their main camp.

Inhale... exhale... inhale... step... step... step the silenced H&K was at the ready. Just one bullet was all he needed. Inhale... exhale... inhale... "We will be heading into port anytime now" the Captain whispered to himself. A figure walked above him, up the stairs. the night was so black that he could've walked right in front of the crewman, and he wouldn't have scarce noticed. "Estimated ETA oh-five-thirty!" "making great time," he replied, studying a map."adjust five degrees... and ...DONE! we'll be there and have enough time for breakfast from our own galley!" sickening... he was always taking about food... Hearing the crewman's footsteps fade into the lower decks, He made his move. sneaking himself and a kitchen knife he snagged on his way up how Ironic he walked up behind the distracted captain and said a simple few words. "quoth the raven, nevermore" and cleaved his skull in two as he turned around. With any luck, they would think that a chef did it, and a world's worth of weight would be lifted from his shoulders... the body... the body... I promptly disposed of it in that godforsaken ocean. someone might come up... what to do? I picked up a spare cord, and created an impromptu "do not disturb" sign. Now if I just stand there, people will think twice about anything. On my way down, I deposited the knife in one of the chef's unused drawers... I won't miss it...

That smoke is just over the horizon "GET MOVING!" every man and woman capable of holding a gun was behind him, now. one more day... that's all it'll take... The Rocket Buggies came back from their scouting duty. "Nothing but desert until that ridge up there," the driver said, turning around," and then it starts getting into a more meadowy terrain. "anything else Akel?" "A scout marine surveying the landscape." "You know what they say... don't shoot the messenger..." "...Which Is why we ran him down." Akel said, rather proudly. "I like you..."

"Boris. What's the problem?" Kanon was looking over the shoulder of the communications officer as he attempted to contact the Flagship. "Ma'am, Our link is fading. I suggest getting another officer from the other forces to get him." "Fine!" She revealed her favorite handset once again, and yelled commands into it. "SHWAZRE!! KUSUMA!!!" She boomed into the small plastic tool. "Status report!" Those two names belonged to commanders attacking from the east and west of the main camp. One had been atacking from the south, but no word has been heard from him and is presumed dead. "This is Lieutenant Colonel Swhwazre Nachtigal! I will be unable to lend my support for sometime. Fierce resistance from enemy artillery and fixed batteries!" ~end transmission~ "This is Lieutenant Colonel Kusuma Nakazato. My force has been repelled due to artillery barrages from the cliff. Advancing now would be suicide, we can't see anything through the smoke. And my fighting force is at 40%." "Perfect. I have a job for you." "What is it ma'am?" She replied. "These coordinates map out possible areas of those annoying artillery cannons. Contact the flag battleship, and tell him to order all ship to target these areas." "...I'll do my best..." "See to it, woman."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Attention Yuktobanian flag battleship "Astimov"." Kusuma broadcasted through the radio. "This is Lieutenant Colonel Kusuma Nakazato. I'm sending you coordinates for your ships to target. Make sure you get them all. It'll really help our adavnce some. Repeat....The go-code is Sierra Charlie Hotel Alpha Wilco Zebra Romeo and Echo. You got that?"
As the trumpet blared, I was led down the decks, to the late captain's room. "In this time of need, the crew and I have elected you as captain. Do you except, Commander?" "Yes." "You are wanted on the deck, Captain," the man said, obviously eavesdropping on the conversation, "an incoming transmission!" "Allright..." poor commander Mason, never had this kinda luck
"Attention Yuktobanian flag battleship "Astimov.This is Lieutenant Colonel Ku - ato. I'm sending you coordinates for your shi - ke sure you get them all. It'll really help our adav - me. I repeat six-four and three-two! seven-zero and two-eight!" the ship rocked a bit from discharging the rounds. the high explosive rounds will break away and rain fire on the artillery. and everyone near them...
+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+
The terrain became more and more even, and the ground lusher by the minute. "we can make out the soldiers, like little ants, slaughtering each other and leaving us to mop up. Isn't that rude, Akel?" we've bonded... I like how pitch his heart is... " Yes, very much, sir." "Make camp here! Do not get within 100 yards of the crest of this hill! NO FIRES!" the entire group, except for the middle-eastern man in the buggy moaned in anguish. I knew that guy was a good one. the only man in this group! "Why no fires!?" one of the defectors asked. "Do you want to give away our position?" "It drops to 15 degrees at night!"
A whip whistled through the air. it is a shame, but, it must be done
